The good thing about this campsite is its location, near to the lagoon and restaurants, post shop and supermarket. The bad things are countless. We have now returned from our visit to Australia. The Wanderers Resort was the worst accommodation in Airlie beach, it looked and was terrible value for money. Interesting place very 70s style bungalows..we got it off the net for $78 a room for 2 rooms and not bad..clean ehough kinda musty smell old rooms and mattress was shocking also campsites around the actual rooms ( or bungalows) we got melanesian which was a top floor and clean bathroom and okay kitchen/bathroom which was good for the price... WE DID NOT EVEN STAY ONE NIGHT. Even when we could not afford much in our early days in Australia we would not have slept in a room this bad. 23yrs later we definitely still won't.
