We originally wanted to stay on Hamilton Island but when that proved too expensive we decided to find somewhere nice at Airlie. Firstly I wouldn't describe this as a hotel and i don't really know how you get 4* as there is little service offered, no cleaning during your stay or drinks in the room other than tea and coffee... more

Our stay at Martinique was fantastic from the beginning to the end. Although the resort was billed as 4* we found the standard much higher. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious! The balcony faced the ocean and the views were amazing! The movie channels were great!
