I stayed here three nights with my 13 year old nephew in an ocean view twin room. On arrival we weren't offered any tips or told anything about the hotel. When we arrived at our room we walked in to find a really outdated decor. The view was nice but we were right above the pool which turned out to... more

We spent 6 relaxing nights at the Coral Sea Resort in beautiful Airlie Beach. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in had absolute ocean front views. The positioning of the room is significant. Whereas we had peace & quiet, only hearing the lapping of the waves nearby, others would be woken early if they overlooked the pool & breakfast areas. The... more

The hotel was set in a nice location, overlooking the sea. It far enough away from the hustle of Airlie town but only a 5 minute walk away (although not advisable for women alone as its a bit dark). The rooms were spacious and surprisly clean (after the many bad reviews I had read!) Although the decor was a nautical... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Coral Sea. It definitely needs a facelift but it was a good value and we wanted to be close enough to walk to the main street but far enough away to avoid the noise. This hotel fits that description perfectly. We felt the ocean-view room was a good value but you have to upgrade... more

We arrived at Proserpine airport and we were greeted by a limo that the hotel had arranged for us. This was a much cheaper alternative to get to the hotel as it is qiute far away from the airport. We arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly suprised, the reception was cool and airy and the staff on the desk... more

This hotel is a a little dated but the rooms are really big and we enjoyed fabulous views of the Coral sea. It was much better than we had expected and was a great base to discover the Whitsunday islands. We have stayed in many other resorts in airlie beach but in terms of value and views - this one... more

The hotel is OK and room was adequate but the whole place needs a bit of a facelift. Just little things that people expect now ie flat screen TV in the room and electronic keys. The restaurant after getting off to a shaky start be serving us on dirty crockery was actually pretty good. The pool is large and has... more

Yet, I cannot suggest a better place. I guess the one disappointment was that it was in the middle of the rainy, humid season and the air conditioner was not on in the room. We had to turn it on and wait until it became comfortable. It was late at night when we arrived, so that is not what one... more
