Camping area is fine, the park looks nice and looked after but the showers and bathrooms are not very clean and the staff is unfriendly and sometimes seemed rude to other guests. Very quiet camp site during the day but the live music from the bars nearby is very clear to hear at night.

Arrived in nomads after two nights camping on Fraser and an overnight bus, have never been more thankful to see such comfy beds and air conditioned rooms! We had an 8 bed in a hut style room which thankfully was freezing cold with aircon as the humidity was so bad outside. The beds were so comfy and there were two... More

Hostel has potential to be great but has a few problems. Good location and cheap bar on site with events on every night which is good, plus it's far enough from the rooms to not cause noise disturbance. Rooms were quite clean but could use a bit more tlc. Kitchen is very small and only one hob is working for... More

The rooms and the facilities are good. Kitchens are a bit dirty and very hot. Some of the staff are just unfriendly and not helpful at all. Always a loooong line to get help at the reception.. Maybe they need more staff?!? Great location and good deals with restaurants and bars.

I have a bad experience during my trip when suddenly my gifs for my family was missing. But them I spoke to Alec in the reception and he was very calm and handle very professional listening to me and giving the options to solve my problem. After that, he sent me to the laundry and the girls Sharon and Jamie... More

the backpackers would be so nice, as the location is really good and the whole place is really nice with grassy bits, trees etc. BUT it is not well maintained- they obviously need to invest in more staff. the shower and toilet facilities and even the kitchen was really dirty. overprized for what you get. we've stayed in better backpackers

The budget King was clean, very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The room is situated in a detached bungalow so it's nice and private. The bed is massive and super comfy! I love the apartment style to the room - basic kitchen amenities and an ensuite bathroom complete with towels and shampoo. There's a large pool, an affordable bar and a... More

I've stayed there with friends for 2 nights. Big rooms, confy beds, but dirty and dark bathrooms. It's quite big, with laundry and pools. Lines to check in and check out. I've asked for cups at 3:30pm and they were running out. It could be better.

loved staying here! very clean - spacious dorms! good value for money! only downside is you have to pay for wifi & the wifi is terrible! Location is very good, right at the top end of the main street, next to all main bars/restaurants.

Stayed here in January 2016 whilst travelling the East Coast. Very basic rooms. Swimming pool is average. As a solo female traveller I found the rooms to be too isolated with absolutely no lighting at night time. As well as that the rooms are completely separate to the reception/kitchen area & anyone can just walk in. Would not recommend
