We stayed one week at this lovely place! We loved everything there - it is a quiet place but only a few minutes to the city to make party, you have a barbecue place where u can sit together, play billiard or swim in the pool surrounded by palms!!! Very good for hangovers and tanning!!! The owners are one of... More

After a long days driving up the East Coast we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The accomodation appeared to have recently been upgraded and was of a high standard somewhat belying its name, the location is also a gentle slide into the main town. What really made our stay so special was the land lady of the... More

We have just spent 3 nights at this motel. We were not very happy to say the least. Firstly, it was the most expensive of the motels that we have stayed in during our travels round Australia. We had paid $99 for the Ramada 4 star resort in Port Douglas and at this motel we paid $112 per night for... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect to wander down into town to the bars, restaurant and beach. We found the staff to be really helpful and friendly when offering advice about the area and what to see, retaurant recommendations and they booked our Whitsunday boat trip for us which was fantastic. The... More

We spent a couple of nights here. It is a family owned place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a barbq grill there and we were able to make our own dinner there one night which was a real pleasure for us. Some of the rooms are older and need updating but our room and a couple... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Arlie Beach Motor Lodge in March 2011. We had first booked 2 nights (1 night before and 1 night after a 2-day cruise in the Whitsunday islands), but as I suffered a terrible seasickness, I had to come back earlier from the cruise and stayed at the Motor Lodge for the 2nd night. As... More

A two minute walk from the town centre (but up a bit of a hill), this motel is a little run down, but clean and with reasonable facilities - good sized room, fridge and microwave, a small pool, and (important to us) free internet. Karen the receptionist was very helpful with organising boat trips etc. Overall good value. More
