We had a wonderful week here !! Right in the middle of airlie beach . We didn't have a car and didn't need one. Whitsunday on the beach was exactly what we wanted, self contained so we could cook if we wanted or visit one of the many restaurants or cafes.Facilities are excellent, room spotless and a lovely table and... Whitsunday on the Beach is located directly opposite the 2 late late nightclubs in the area, while I dont mind a late night every now and then, I was suprised by just how loud it was til 3am (when i managed to fall asleep). I guess thats not a comment on the motel, just an observation. The upside of this... More

These units are in the best location. Town at your front door and the Lagoon at your back. Beds were firm which we love. The only thing we found we needed was a chopping board but had everything else. We never managed to get the Wifi (our devices didn't pick it up). Great friendly & helpful staff. Thanks

I was very happy with this accommodation. Clean & spacious room, friendly & helpful staff at the frontdesk, free wifi, and so on... The location is amazing, right next to the lagoon. We stayed here on a Wednesday. After a 2-day sailing trip we would return to Airlie beach for another night. I asked if it was possible to leave... More

We booked through booking.com and there was an option to make requests. I asked for top floor nearest the lagoon if possible. You don't ask, you don't get after all!! Glad I did, as we got upgraded to the 'penthouse'. This was a huge room with beds for 4 people, and a view outside to the lagoon and sea with... More

After being on a boat for 3 days with rough seas and accommodation this place was a Godsend. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, clean facilities with good water pressure, free wifi, well functioning air-con & fan, and lovely location right on the beach behind the lagoon/pool in the centre of town. It felt like an oasis in the desert and... More

Central, downtown location and situated on the lagoon. Standard, clean, quiet room, free wifi, free parking, reasonable rates, laundry facilities, friendly helpful staff. We had an upstairs room with balcony, which is slightly more expensive, they knock down the rates a bit if you stay more than one night.

On checking in .... We thought we were way too old for this place but the staff and in particular Richard re- assured us that we would enjoy it and that we did. We had room 203 and whilst the Room was a tad basic it included all essentials crockery / cutlery and pots if u wanted to cook. Aircon... More

As basic as they come with the feel of every expense spared wherever possible. It isn't very expensive, you get wifi and a bit of free milk and secure parking however that is where the pluses stop. Minuses included- The loudest air conditioning unit I have ever heard A shower which couldn't handle much more than a trickle A visiting... More

Thank you for your review We found the new air-conditioned to be faulty and the manufacture replaced it under warranty. The plumbers found the pressure valve for the building to be faulty and replaced it. As for the cockroach they are airborne and get attracted buy the lights some times and are very common in the tropics as they live... More
