We stayed for 5 nights and it was great. The best thing by far was the heated pool. This kept my kids occupied for hours. They hardly used the lagoon pool as it was colder. The rooms are fine but perhaps not as good as the Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas. We had a duel key room (i.e. one... more

We have traveled around the world and know a good value place when we get there. The facilities are world class, staff are discrete, quiet and efficient. The rooms are great, the pools especially for kids are great. FNQ is not the place for people who need maid service or fawning flunkies who will wipe your butt. The staff, especially... more

Read some of the negative remarks before booking so was prepared for anything really. Have to admit though it was amusing that someone expected houskeeping to do their dishes for them every day - it's not Windsor Castle! Anyway everything about the resort met and exceeded our expectations, from the facilities to the friendly staff. Loved the beach/pool, rooms fabulous... more

My husbanc and I stayed 10 days at Peppers Beach Club and Spa and loved our stay there immensely. I had initially only booked 2 nights but wasted no time extending our stay. Our room was great and very roomy - it was lovely having a washing machine/dryer and also the kitchen had huge fridge freezer and dishwasher. We chose... more

I stayed at Peppers because my husband had a conference. The room was specious. Only thing I didn't like was the floor of the room was little dirty...especially we walk with barefoot, I wanted to have nice clean floor. Kids enjoyed to stay because the part of swimming pool is heated (hey, it is North QLD but it will get... more

We were looking forward to staying at Peppers from looking at their website and reviews, and when we arrived it excelled our expectations. The rooms was beautiful, modern and cosy, everything you would expect in a resort of this standard. The best part was opening our balcony doors to find a spa bath overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Every member of... more

We stayed in Palm Cove on a last minute deal off-peak and got a great rate on this luxury hotel. We arrived well in advance of our check-in time but aware of the fact that we were travel-weary and desperate for some rest they quickly found us an alternative room which we found to be spacious and clean. There was... more

Good quality hotel. Stayed in a one bedroom suite with a friend and enjoyed the extra space; a big living room, kitchen and small laundry. Also had balcony overlooking the lagoon pool which was awesome. Staff were okay, not particularly welcoming but were efficient. The hotel has the potential to be brilliant but was a little frayed arounfd the edges... more

This resort has a lot to offer but is being badly let down by staff and management. The grounds of the resort are above average. Having three swimming pools was great, and the 'beach' swimming pool is great for kids--although it is way too warm. We tried a couple of the restaurants attached to the resort and they were excellent.... more

Cannot believe the poor reviews for this excellent hotel. Our view was that it was the best but by no means the most expensive during our month in Australia. We booked a spa room but upgraded at very modest cost (less than £10 per night) to a Deluxe Spa Room. In any other hotel this would have been a very... more
