We had stayed here some 11 years ago, and my husband was keen to return, despite my reservations, so now with a 9 year old in toe, we gave it a go. Spread over a huge area, the Rockford appartments buildings are secluded with in the lush tropical gardens, with each set of buildings sharing a good size pool. Booked a two bedroom apartment a week before my trip to Palm Cove. On arrival, I had to wait for 20 mins for check-in and they were clearly under staffed. After reading the earlier reviews of this resort, we were not enirely sure of what to expect, rest assured the resort exceeded expectations. The resort it suited to families with children up until the late teens, public transport is easily accessible from the resort and staff are readily available to explain the system. stayed at the rockford and had the best time. the hotel ground are very tidy,along with the rooms. the rooms were cleaned everyday. didnt eat at the hotel, we went to the surf club to eat superb food.all in all there is nothing wrong with this hotel very good maners at reception and i would stay there again. keep up... more

We stayed at the Novotel for a week with our 2 children 4 & 6. We booked a privately owned apartment which we were very pleased with as it was newly renovated in comparison to some of the very shabby hotel apartments. This is our 2nd trip here.
