this property has recently changed hands and is now known as "Alamanda Palm Cove." It is a really pleasant place to stay and you can walk to everything in the village. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are more like suites and very comfortable. The grounds are very lush and tropical plants are everywhere. The restaurant is being... More

Photos definitely do not do this place any justice. You really have to experience it for yourself. There was not one thing that we didn't enjoy about Angsana. The staff were very friendly, rooms were very modern and spacious (we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite), and having immediate access to the beach was fantastic. Sunbaking by the beach pool... More

This was one of our first cities to visit in Australia. The location of the resort is perfect, right on a water front. Plenty of great restaurants were located on this cove. The staff were outstanding, always willing to help. It was a great beginning to our holiday.

We have recently returned from a 16 night stay at the Angsana Resort and I'd have to stay I'm still somewhat dumbfounded by the negative reviews. We loved our stay, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we loved the resort, so much so we are planning another visit with our friends early next year. We were... More

This is our 3rd stay at Angsana, But 6 years since our last stay. How very disappointing. What happened to the wonderful professional check in experience, with refreshing towels & an iced drink? It seemed to be all about credit card details (after I had already emailed them as requested prior to check in & paid for our stay by... More

We stayed 8 days at Angsana the week before Xmas 2013. We loved the resort, room was gorgeous, pools are pristine and the staff could not do enough for us. We stayed in a beach front suite (number 31) and being on the ground floor you walk directly out of your door onto a small private garden, resort grass and... More

First, this place is lovely, impeccable and the amenities excellent. But the service... Called ahead to ask whether we should rent a car as we were transferring to/from the airport and going out to the Great Barrier Reef. No need said the nice young man. After paying $80 from the airport; we were told it would be $175 transfers to... More

Very pleased with our clean room and the housekeeping staff, they were incredible, polite, friendly ladies with great attitudes. However, the manager was abrupt, short and lacked flexibility re our concerns about short notice changes made by the hotel to the package offered by the resort at time of our booking several months ago. The Wi Fi worked intermittently on... More

Wonderful location on the beachfront at the extreme southern end of Palm Cove. The room was pleasant enough although tired and dated. The restaurant had a true tropical setting that would be hard to beat on a fine evening, but only average service. Overall the stay was disappointing but one that could have been taken to a higher level if... More

Excellent location- the only hotel in Palm cove with direct access to the beach. At the end of the esplanade so away from all the restaurants. A restaurant on the beach- without a doubt the best restaurant location in Palm Cove. So many palm trees, my favourite! Excellent service. Rooms we're cleaned exceptionally everyday. Not a hotel room but an... More
