Faraway bay has the most amazing landscape in the world. The rooms and dinning area are very comfortable and clean and you feel very at home. The food is amazing and you will definitely not go hungry.if you like to chill out this is the place for you. The boats and the fishing equipment is sub standard and if you... More

Thank you for your feedback, we always appreciate guests taking the time to let us know how their time with us was. Glad you enjoyed most of what Faraway Bay has to offer. Will address the communication problem, being a small family run business in a remote location we do majority of work ourselves, and endeavour to provide the best... More

We hesitated about going to Faraway Bay because of the cost . We wanted a wilderness experience but didn't really fancy the glamping tours on offer. So what to do? All I can say is that the few days we spent at Faraway Bay were some of the most memorable ever. Kevin and Gemma do an amazing job in a... More

It is expensive but the three day stay included the flights and all excursions. Great scenic flight and arrive in time for morning tea which was sumptuous. The meals were excellent. Gemma and Kevin will ensure you are well fed. Enjoyed seeing rock paintings and other trips organised by Kevin. Kevin is laid back but you know you are in... More

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Faraway Bay in June 2015. We were very impressed with the service and attentiveness of all the staff, especially Kevin and Jemma. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about boating, fishing, the local area, and Aboriginal art. He educated us about these matters in a very low-keyed, unassuming manner. Jemma made... More

Faraway Bay is a first class remote wilderness experience in a beautiful part of the Kimberley coastline. Kevin and Emma will treat you to magnificent meals and daily outdoor activities. If your interests include river and coastal waterfalls and scenery, fishing, birding, walking, ancient rock art, or just soaking up the atmosphere of the wilderness you will be well catered... More

A small family group of four of us recently enjoyed a five night stay in this little piece of "heaven on earth" on the remote north Kimberley coast. After an interesting flight from Kununurra over the Ord and Berkeley rivers and King George falls, we landed on the airstrip and were transported to the camp in a wonderful vehicle over... More

Kevin Riley runs a very professional operation at the Bush Camp, Faraway Bay. The only access is by aircraft or boat, so it is very secluded! The hospitality and food are unbelieveable, as one instance the canapes etc before dinner are to die for! And could really be the meal! The scenery is magnificent, and the picnic lunches on the... Faraway Bay is everything that a holiday should provide: amazing scenery, fishing, best food. It is hard to explain but you need to get yourself here and you won't want to leave - it is so remote, so beautiful and the you have the FB team making the experience even better.

The most gorgeous setting, far away from everything. Don't expect a five star hotel but do expect the best seascapes, sunsets, delicious food, land and sea adventures. Totally relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and enthusiastic staff. I hope to return next year.

My partner and I spent 3 fantastic nights at faraway bay last week. It really is an experience not to be missed. The flight out there is wonderfully scenic passing over the King George Falls and the remote kimberley landscape. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Kevin and his lovely staff and then set off to see some Bradshaw... More
