The actual gorge is fantastic and well worth a visit. The accommodation at the resort was very disappointing. The tented accommodation was of a good standard but certainly not worth the $298 per night. Particularly disappointing is that it has no tea or coffee making facility and it is a good 500 meter walk to the restaurant. We had two... More

My friends and I stayed here for three nights and loved every moment, our eco tent was in a lovely setting, the swimming pool was fabulous, the reception staff Leanne and Georgia thank you, lovely Jeff for our delicious breakfast, the grounds, our walk to Emma Gorge the highlight, we loved it all. A huge thank you to ranger Matt... More

Emma Gorge is a little oasis of tranquility from which to explore an otherwise harsh but exceedingly beautiful area. ElQ enjoys many treasures to explore. Take full advantage of the walks and excursions; you may only pass this way once. The cabins are not air-conditioned but are meticulously clean, have a practical en-suite with lashings of cool water and the... More

Wow. Emma Gorge is amazing. Most of these walks are rocky and you need to be steady on your feet but the pool at the end is spectacular. Probably my favorite swimming gorge. The colour of the water, the redness of the cliffs, the falls and the ferns growing around the high cliffs are so special I dont want to... More

We stayed for two nights, we could not fault the friendly staff and great food. Highly recommend the pork belly. Thank you for making our two night romantic get away so memorable! Special thanks to the staff Leah, Alexndra and Rachael for taking extra time to chat and make us feel welcome! Highly recommend

We recently had a three-night stay here, courtesy of our children, who rightly figured that the oldies would like a bit of luxury during their camping trip along the Gibb River Road. Yes, it's very nice, but a lot of money for very basic accommodation. Can I remind hoteliers that first impressions are vital? We arrived at reception to be... More

My rave review from Dec 14 is still relevant - so I won't repeat that. We did find that the meals this year are not up to the high level they were last year. We won't be making the drive from Kununurra just of lunch, however we will still drop in, when passing by. Service, ambience etc etc still great... More

Nathan and Gez went out of their way to make our stay very personal. Spend the afternoon by the pool and not in your tent to keep cool. We enjoyed our stay and felt 3 days allowed a good mix of walking and relaxing. Loved it!

Stayed 2 nights in the tented accomodation at the beautiful Emma Gorge. Well set out resort with small shop, bar/restaurant, laundry facilities, swimming pool and large ground camping and fixed tents. The tents were ensuite and quite comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that some improved lighting for the ensuite would be good. The grounds are well maintained, resort style... More

Emma Gorge Resort at El Questro is an excellent location to stay in if travelling the Gibb River Road. We stayed in the tented lodges and found them comfortable. The tented lodge had a double bed with an ensuite. The ensuite was a bit dark due to insufficient light as we were to find out the maintenance on the tented... More
