Stayed 2 nights in the tented accomodation at the beautiful Emma Gorge. Well set out resort with small shop, bar/restaurant, laundry facilities, swimming pool and large ground camping and fixed tents. The tents were ensuite and quite comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that some improved lighting for the ensuite would be good. The grounds are well maintained, resort style... More

Emma Gorge Resort at El Questro is an excellent location to stay in if travelling the Gibb River Road. We stayed in the tented lodges and found them comfortable. The tented lodge had a double bed with an ensuite. The ensuite was a bit dark due to insufficient light as we were to find out the maintenance on the tented... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of the APT tour to the top end of Australia. It was a pleasant stay. 1) Location was good as it was very close to Emma Gorge and not far from El Questro township & Chamberlain gorge 2) Laundry facility was available - $3 for a load of washing and washing powder... Traveling in the Kimberley is a real adventure and one of our stops happened to be Emma Gorge at El Questro. We stayed in the tented cabins which were fine, though getting a little warm at this time of year. We got up early to do the walk to Emma Gorge and were back for breakfast, there was a slight... My husband and I recently stayed at Emma gorge and had a fantastic experience. The staff were absolutely outstanding. Greg in particular stood out taking us on our sunset tour. An amazing person. To be honest we could not fault any member of staff. The food was excellent and veggies like us were catered for. Re the accommodation , previous... More

Arrived here after a very long drive and was relieved that it was very close to the Gibb River Road. A very warm, professional welcome. These people know how to treat customers. The tented cabin for four was lovely - completely bug-free and a haven for glamping softies like us. The walk up to Emma Gorge itself is very pleasant... More

Stayed in the tented cabins. Cleverly designed we were never too hot or too cold and no insects could get in. Immaculately clean. Food excellent though the lunch menu was the same as the dinner menu so we got a bit bored of lack of choice. Guides were wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. Emma Gorge is stunning, to swim under the... More

The staff here was absolutely wonderful. However, the Kimberley gets hot which most white wines don't like. There are no room refridgerators, BUT there is one in the bar area. All the staff (except one....) were very laid back about chilling a bottle in that refridge (much easier than finding a frozen river in the Top End...). After carrying a... More

A holiday destination which gave everything that it promised to. I could not have asked for a more hospitable and friendly place to stay. Make sure you take advantage of at least 2 of the tours on offer there. Especially enjoyed the Zebedee experience in the Hot Springs. ll up I would give it 10 out of 10

We stayed in a tented cabin which was very comfortable in a lovely setting by a running stream. We had dinner in their restaurant and had the barramundi which was delicious. The tented cabins are quite large and have a queen size bed. The resort is well set up with a swimming pool, bar, dining and garden setting to sit... More
