We had just completed driving the Gibb River Road and this was a welcome stop on our travels. Expensive as you would expect out this way but the tent/room really did seem like you were in a proper hotel room. Lovely to wake to all the birds and wild life in the morning. Beautiful facility in a beautiful location

The Emma Gorge Resort is set at the base of the Cockburn Range and is also the starting point for the Emma Gorge track. The immediate grounds surrounding the Dining are/Bar/Shop/Reception is an oasis of green gardens, shady trees and covered lounges. A large swimming pool is there as well for those not undertaking the Gorge trek. We stayed in... More

We were here in July 2015 for 3 nights, right in the middle of tourist season. Knowing this is a popular resort we made the booking 8 months ahead. Very handy as there were many dates still available. The cabin it self is nice, I think the resort is trying to bring us back to nature. It has 3 layer... More

Our family of four (2 teenage boys + us) stayed for one night (sadly it was not longer). The tented cabins were fabulous - comfy beds. Yes, there is only a partition between the sleeping area and the ensuite, some people may have issue with this, but we didn't. Some reviewers have complained about the lack of a fridge in... More

Emma Gorge is certainly off the beaten track--on the Gibb River Road, though not far from the Great Northern Highway; and the resort is tucked into the gorge, between mountain walls. The raised-platform tented cabins are a unique "hotel" experience--reminding me of my days at summer camp in the Laurentian mountains, when I was young, but the tents in the... More

Inspiring, spirit-lifting, heart-opening, soul rejuvenating week based at Emma Gorge. My adventurous mother (77) and I (50) had a fantastic week, exploring the many wonders of this extraordinary part of the earth. Being based at Emma Gorge Resort was perfect. Close to nature in the terrific tented cabins yet with the comfort of shower, swimming pool, excellent sophisticated restaurant, memorably... More

Unique experience staying in tented accommodation and being able to climb up to Emma Gorge...the restaurant was very good also. Staying in September was very good, it was hot but it was a dry heat and it was comfortable in the tents because it did cool down at night. At that time of the year there were not lots of... More

We stayed at Emma Gorge Resort for 4 nights. The food was varied, fresh and tasty, the staff were like a well oiled machine and the service was impeccable. The tours were amazing and the self guided walks were just beautiful. Definitely rates as one of the best holidays I have ever taken.

We come here regularly as we don't live so far away. Each time the food is of high standard and fresh. I don't know how they do it. The Greek salad is my favourite. The Barra burger is tasty but a challenge to not be so messy with. I'll continue to return.

Nice, clean Ensuite Tented Cabin with electricity and drinking water. The resort eatery is expensive, the food is big size and ok. Walk to the Gorge is lovely, unfortunately the Falls don't have any water in the end of August.
