Stayed Three nights at the Homestead. Great seeing a crocodile in the billabong below our balcony. Gorges were a short drive away, some bumpy but glad we drove ourselves. Heli trip to Miri Miri falls unforgettable day. Rooms very well designed and comfortable. We were on our honeymoon so the group meals were not what we had envisaged but possible... More

The Homestead really is the full deal and since you're making the effort to come all the way to this remote location, I agree with other reviewers, a 3 night stay would be perfect. 5 nights; even better. You may only ever pass this way but once. If mobility permits, take the helicopter trip to Miri Miri falls. The flight... More

We stayed at the homestead it only accomadates 18 guests max at one time , which makes this a unique 5 star stay . I would recommend the cliff top villas , very private with luxury amenities, bath on the verandah overlooking the chamberlain gorge , outdoor & indoor shower, beautiful king size bed . Fully stocked mini bar and... More

The unique location of El Questro Homestead is not the only thing that stands out about this wonderful place. The views, the accommodation, the gardens, the host, the staff, the food, the tours - everything was excellent. The rooms are individual groups of buildings connected by covered walkways. There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms as they are... More

I have always wanted to visit Nortern Aust and in my research this was a perfect venue. I found no fault with the experience. Staff were excellent, food awesome and experience exceeded my expectations. The air travel to kunanurra was difficult however our circumstances were accommodated. Highly recommended.

Firstly I strongly recommend a three night stay at Homestead to really enjoy it and make sure you request a room overlooking the gorge - wonderful vista and amazing sunsets We did the Chamberlain Gorge trip with champagne for sundowners - complimentary activity - and saw wallabies in the cliff face Breakfast was of the highest standards and all round... I have just spent 2 nights at El Questro Homestead and I loved every aspect of my time there. I could waffle on for hours so instead will confine my review to FIVE criteria - 1. Accommodation - the Homestead layout reflects the traditions of the outback, rather than a single building it is a cluster of buildings & iron... More

We stayed 2 nights in May in one of the homestead rooms (cajeput). We could see in the adjacent room's bathroom when we entered our room on the second night (and hear water running, the toilet being flushed) and I could see staff cleaning the other adjacent room's patio from our bathroom! The food was disappointing. For the price we... More

The best service, the best views, just the best hotel experience ever. Patrick, who had just started that week, was extremely hospitable and overly pleasant. He really made our visit a memorable experience. Aside from the sheer beauty of the property, El Questro Homestead offered some fantastic excursions including the Emma Gorge hike that ended in the most pristine lagoon... More

Spent five nights at the El Questro Station, spouse was celebrating a milestone birthday. It is the most amazing place - very relaxing. We did the Chamberlain Gorge Cruise which was excellent - the two guides were very informative. The meals at the restaurant were delicious. We also had a look at Emma Gorge (we had lunch there on two... More
