Spent five nights at the El Questro Station, spouse was celebrating a milestone birthday. It is the most amazing place - very relaxing. We did the Chamberlain Gorge Cruise which was excellent - the two guides were very informative. The meals at the restaurant were delicious. We also had a look at Emma Gorge (we had lunch there on two... More

I first visited El Questro around 6 years ago, staying at the station which was a great experience. A lot has changed in those years, fires and a major flood have really taken out a lot of vegetation which was a bit of a shock. However if you want to experience the Kimberley's and don't have a lot of time,... More

Stay at the Homestead it is amazing, perched on this cliff top overlooking the Chamberlain River. The accommodation is first class, backed up by the excellent service and delicious food. What an experience of a lifetime that you will just love.

Don't be confused by the website and driving through the rest of the el questro ranch, this is a totally different experience. The most amazing experience, excellent customer service, we did not want for anything, nothing is too much trouble and every member of staff was friendly helpful and welcoming. Food was excellent and the private excursions were great. The... More

My husband and I stayed in late August so a belated review, but my summary is - we had an absolute ball. Look I agree with some of the reviews which hint at the food not being michelin star - but it's really really good and this is the Kimberley for goodness sakes, and the number of guests is limited... The jewel of the El Questro Station is the Kimberley landscape itself, however the secret of its success must be its staff. We enjoyed four nights at the Homestead in mid-September, and the experience was beyond a reasonable description. The Homestead itself is immaculately kept and a very pleasant oasis in an otherwise harsh environment. Our room (Cliff Side Retreat)... More

The Kimberlys are stunning and the Homestead at El Questro exceeded my expectations .It had been on my bucket list and now its on my "must return" list. The service is outstanding, the food and wine excellent and the accommodation in the Chamberlain Gorge rooms beautiful and very comfortable. If you want extra special ,then book the Chamberlain Gorge Suite which... More

What an amazing place which was made even more special by the brilliant staff. We stayed there for 5 days and enjoyed trips in the 4WDs, the hot springs, the gorge walks and river trips. A few of us (not me) even braved the doorless helicopter rides. The food was excellent and plentiful. The memories will stay with us for... More

The Homestead is fantastic and our experience was faultless. Arrival is easy, we drove in, and a four-wheel drive is advised, mainly for comfort but there are about three water crossings. Check with the station to ensure the charming staff are awaiting your arrival with hot or cold towels at the door as you roll up to the door. Check-in... More

Our first trip to El Questro and the Kimberley has surpassed all of our expectations. From the understated luxury of the Homestead, to the excellent service, the amazing food and wine and delightful company of the other guests and especially the incredible location overlooking the Chamberlain gorge. Wow. Gorge walks and cruises, heli fishing on the banks of the Durack... More
