Breezed through El Questro with a Kimberley tour group. It was stunning. So much to see and do. Can't wait to come back and check it out properly. Stayed in a permanent tent. It was lovely. Bar with live music was a massive hit and created a great atmosphere!!

Stayed in a bungalow, 1 double, bunk and single, small room, mini bar fridge, no TV, large older bathroom with a shower. There is a restaurant, and the bar has meals on certain nights. You need a decent 4WD to get to a lot of the sights and you can't visit The Homestead unless you are staying there.

We had a wonderful two nights in a bungalow overlooking the Pentecost River siting on the veranda watching a beautiful blue tail kookaburra, it was once in a life time trip. The restaurant had great meals on offer, the staff really pleasant. recommend it to any one.

We recently spent 3 camping nights here whilst on the Gibb River Road and could of easily spent more. The restaurant was fantastic and the gorges were absolutely breath taking. An amazing part of Australia.

The view from our bungalow verandah took my breath away at first, it was a lovely room. Nice and close to the restaurant and store but we couldn't hear any noise from there. Pleasantly surprised by the food on offer at the restaurant, really fresh and tasty (apart from some bland pork ribs) and an excellent wine selection. Fantastic live... More

We stayed two nights at El Questro - The Station and it was the only bad stay during our vacation. And that’s even an understatement We stayed in a bungalow with 5 adults ("garden view"), adjacent to the restaurant. It turned out we slept with five of us in one small room that clearly had not been cleaned for a... More

Dear Ilse_rens I am so very sorry to see that your stay at El Quetsro Station was a letdown for you. It is somewhat understandable though, as our Bungalows are not made to accommodate 5 adults and we spread that word through our network of trade partners and travel agents. It is very unfortunate that this size room was booked... More

We spent only two nights here, but please if you can, spend more. Located approximately 1.5hrs from Kununurra, it is a good stopover before proceeding on the Gibb or down to the Bungles. A fancy, neat station tucked away, well equipped with the basics. We stayed at the unpowered campsite, which is great. Lotsa space around, campfires allowed at designated... More

I have mixed feelings about this place- I always wanted to come here after seeing advertising for it and I'm glad I did and whilst it's nice, it just seems a bit over- commercialised and not as authentic as other stations along the Gibb. We got an unpowered site with water but at $60 a night- that did include some... More

This place was our only disappointment in the Kimberley. The overall feeling is of an impersonal attitude. It's no doubt a roaring financial success, which shows what a big advertising and PR budget can do. Yes, there are some nice gorges etc here - as there are throughout the Kimberley - but as a camping experience it was very poor.... More

This is a return visit to ElQuestro first coming here in 2011. In that year we saw 1st hand the damage that the force of water can do to a place. Now some 3yrs later, you scratch your head and ask where.....they is so much on offer here, from 4wd tracks to walking trails, gorge cruise, a visit to natures... More
