Camp grounds were good as well as the amenities and the music entertainment was fantastic All the tours were very expensive and it had no pool and lacked the same vibe as Home valley Station staff at ELQ except for 1 bar staff was lacking the same enthusiasm as Home Valley The access to the gorges is what makes it... El Questro is huge! So prepare for crowds, bureaucracy, queues and noise as well as high costs common in the Kimberley. Having said that, we took a riverside cottage because we couldn't get into Emma Gorge and loved it because there were few visitors to get in the way of the great environment. From our small verandah we spotted kookaburras,... More

We had a fun stay again, decent facilities and so much to do. The only issue is the pilot running his plane up at 5am while it was still pitch black, then the chopper pilot running the helicopter up at 5.30am. Then it was quiet again until 6am when the fixed wing guy decided to take off right over the... More

We stayed in Black Cockatoo campground during school holidays which was a mistake. Nowhere near enough facilities for the number of campers and it can be a very long walk to the loos. The prices of their organized trips are excessive so we did not do any. Nice swimming in the creek there. Zebedee Springs is only open to campers... More

Camped here in a powered site with a tent for three nights. The amenities did not cope, with long queues for toilets and showers. A long wait at reception due to insufficient staff was not a good start. Walks were not well defined, and an offhand "there are instructions at the beginning of the walk" was both unhelpful and incorrect.... More

Place is touristy and busy but the management and staff do it well. We self drove and the four wheel drive tracks were well maintained and took you to some great areas. Crowds everywhere but we found once you got into the gorges the walks were u crowded and sensational. Get off your blot during the day. Explore and come... More

We booked a bungalow at the Station that fitted 5 people to have a bit more space for our family of 4 and were surprised when we arrived to have been '" upgraded" to a river view bungalow which is a misnomer, a tiny shoebox with one bed having to be pulled out to sleep on, We were advised the... The family recently stayed at El Questro station for the second time. Both times we have thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience. The natural beauty of the surrounding gorges and waterfalls are hard to beat. The 4WD tracks are a fun way to get some amazing views of the landscape. The entertainment and dinners are excellent, and surprisingly none of... More

We stayed at a private campsite - with our own swimming hole. It was well worth the extra $$ for the extra privacy and sense of seclusion. We were in Wren - which meant we had loos nearby (very clean drop loo). You could have a campfire in peace and it was perfect for a group w two vehicles (6people).... More

We spent four days in the camp ground and were really disappointed! They needed a water cart on the road twice a day the amenities could not cope with the crowd and finding a camp site was difficult. They need to go and visit Lake Argyle Caravan Park to see how it should be run! On the positive side the... More
