it is the only caravan park at Lake Argyle and it is the best. the sites are very roomy with some grass cover. no problem washing your car or van due to the abundance of water. there is live music some nights at the reasonably priced out door bar. and a good feed available at reasonable prices. Make sure you... More

We intended to spend one night camping, and ended up staying 4 days. The facilities were immaculate and the restaurant food was quite good. Entertainment was outstanding. The staff and guests were friendly and fun to be around. The infinite pool was a special treat. We enjoyed a lake cruise and swimming. There was hiking available and a homestead to... More

Very beautiful views. The infinity pool is to die for and sitting on hill near pool for sunset was breathtaking. The man that greets you at Caravan Park is a bit smart and made us feel like a bit of a pain. Unfortunately this was enough for us not to stay more than overnight. You also need to wear wrist... The caravan park staff are fabulous and that makes check in, parking and reception service so easy. The park is one of the best and for a change you can book but they will always fit you in if you don't.Big sites well grassed and handy clean facilities which are cleaned twice daily! Bar, entertainment and bar service outstanding. You must... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, two of them were extremely windy, unusually so according to staff, and our roof top tent with its amazing perch overlooking the dam cliffs was buffeted so strongly on the first night that my husband had to turn the car around. We asked for, and was allowed to move to a less scenic but... More

Good things: Most powered sites are shaded. The bird life is diverse and entertaining. The pool looked lovely. The view from some parts of the park were stunning. Management does its best to keep grass growing on the sites. Not so good: From the moment they arrive, guests are treated like hospital patients – made to wear a bright wrist... More

What a beautiful location, spectacular views especially from the infinity pool (very cold though!). We stayed on a powered site during the busy season and it was very crowded. However staff were there to guide you to your site and on the whole were very helpful. Only one older male staff member was very rude to us and another couple... More

The best run park we have come across so far, great people always happy to help. Happy hour and good food. Don't miss the pancakes on Sunday morning. The location is just awesome. The infinity pool is just perfect and a real treat. Don't go past, call in you won't regret it.

On the advice of fellow travellers we spent 3 nights in our van at the resort. Such a remote but beautiful place. It was so nice to have a shady grassy site. Staff were friendly and welcoming advising us of different offerings. The park/resort is the old workers camp (from the building of the dam) and they have done a... More

What a lovely place to visit! Friendliest staff ever, right from check-in to directing to site with explanation of facilities! Sunset cruise a must! Stayed 8 nights on the oval (unpowered) which had the best view around! Does get a but windy overnight so just be aware, better to take awning down before going to bed!
