Lake Argyle is just a stunning location as is kununurra and its surrounding rivers and dams. We enjoyed villa 42 which was a self contained deluxe unit with a direct view of the lake area. The pool was amazing, nice and quiet. Grounds / facilities all very well maintained , would recommended friends and family to head out for a... More

We were in one of the beautiful villas (41) over looking the lake. Utterly breath taking! Amazing aircon, friendly staff, and the pool... That damn infinity pool - has made every other pool on this earth inferior! Lake argyle (& the infinity pool) will always have a special place in my heart as that's were my darling fiancé proposed. The... More

This has to be one of the most beautiful places we have seen on our around Australia tour. If you would like memories to keep forever make sure you do the sunset cruise. Floating around in the middle of Lake Argyle on a pool noodle with a glass of crisp white wine as the sun begins to sink is very... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in a Lake View Cabin. It was my partners birthday and our 20th anniversary. On check in Leanne advised us there was a Christmas party on that weekend and that some of the guests were staying in the same unit complex as us on the waterfront. She could not stress enough that if we had... More

I intended staying 2 nights but ended up staying 7. Next time I will definitely stay longer :) The Lake Argyle Resort is the only 'town'. It is beautiful. I stayed on an unpowered site for $15 per night and enjoyed all the amenities including a great restaurant and the AMAZING infinity pool. The pool overlooks the Lake Argyle and... More

In the remote desert town of Kununurra, it’s jarring as a visitor to see sprinklers running all day, locals watering their garden constantly and no concern over a day-long carwash. But although the town lacks in size, their water supply is abundant due to a simple scheme constructed in the 70’s. Lake Argyle, the largest artificial lake in Australia, was... More

With picture postcard views of Lake Argyle this place is perfectly situated and complete with infinity pool. Green shady campsites look inviting and the cabins situated to get stunning views! Service is at Kimberley pace - not particularly fast but then again it probably doesn't need to be. The resort would benefit from some further investment in redeveloping the bar/restaurant/... More

My wife and I recently stayed in the Kimberley region for a week and Lake Argyle Resort was the most beautiful setting and well appointed and clean accommodation of our entire "top end" trip. The staff were great and we had an unreal trip on the Kimberley Durack Sunset cruise, I even picked up a couple of free beers in... More

We visited the Lake Argyle Resort as part of a guided trip and decided that we would drive ourselves up there for at least one night in the camp site. And a good decision it was. The very friendly camp staff allowed us to find a shady and grassy tent site to our liking. There are beautiful trees scattered through... More
