We started with a bus tour of the dam wall and hydro power station before boarding the orange tour boat to head out onto the Very large expanse of water called Lake Argyle on the Ord River on WA. We spotted freshwater crocodiles, local bird life, fed fish and visited and fed wallabies at their island home. Then the finale.... More

Found the staff friendly but their approach unprofessional. I was denied a formal tax invoice, being advised that they could not print it out! The shop in the resort was inadequate, presumably encouraging tourists to eat at the restaurant which served very bad coffee and average meals. The surroundings were beautiful which saved the day, with a well laid out... More

This place is a dream. You normally only see things like that in movies. Situated on the edge of the cliff, overlooking the huge lake. You have to see it from the Infinity Pool! The Sunset Cruise and helicopter flight is a must to get the whole picture. Best park we stayed in so far. Wished we could have stayed... More

This is a view you expect on a 5 star hotel not a caravan park. We really enjoyed our stay, staff are very nice and helpful. The reason we went there was for the infinity pool. That was an amazing stay.

beautiful place, reasonable price and very friendly staff. Had unpowered site. Plenty of room and lots of shade. Had individual showers and toilets (ensuite style) fantastic infinity pool. Will be back and recommend to my friends

Lake Argyle Resort is worth much more of your time than just a day trip from Kununurra. After all, a dam isnt on everyones list of things to see, but Lake Argyle is so much more than just a dam. As an RV traveller, everything about the caravan park side of the Resort is spot on - the amenities, the... More

I will admit to having only booked at this place because of the pool, and had that been the only good thing it would have been enough to warrant 3 stars. We stayed here for 3 nights, camping in our tent (unpowered site). Usually unpowered sites seem to be the least catered for and in the least desirable spots, however,... More

We stayed for one night only at the start of an overall self flying tour of the Kimberley region. What a wonderful surprise this place was although it did have pretty good Tripadvisor ratings so it wasn't a total surprise. We stayed in villa 4/4 that overlooked the Lake Argyle and the views were amazing. The villa was very modern,... More

Lake Argyle was not on our travel agenda, but decided to stop for the night and hopefully go on the lunch cruise. Well well well when we arrived it was breathtakingly beautiful. The views were amazing. The Caravan Park was inviting, the infinity pool was amazing. We ended up going on the sunset tour. Well you can see by my... More

We came in around 20 th of April for 3 nights powered site and still at dry season rate. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the lake. Large sites and shady. The prices in the restaurant are a bit expensive. The sunset cruise is well worth the money.
