Excellent food at the restaurant, relation between quality and price is very good. Service was perfect all the time. The thermal water pools are in the middle of the forest and also with an spectacular view of the sea. Other pools indoor are spectacular too, with great service, different temperatures in each pool and beautiful architecture.

Our journey in the Careterra Austral in April 2013 ended, quite fittingly, at Puyuhuapi Lodge. That's because of the Lodge's magical setting, in the blue waters of a Fjord, surrounded by a lush green bush jungle. The lodge itself can be accessed only by sea, so the excitement starts even as you board their boat at Puyuhuapi village - do... More

We loved the Thermals in the hotel. They are outdoors at a deck by this stunning fiords. The rooms with view are also very inspiring and cozy. The food could be better, although the breakfast is perfect, with home made whole breads. We crossed the channel on kayak in our way back. It was pretty difficult due to the tides... More

We had a wonderful experience at the Puyuhauapi Lodge and Spa between Christmas and New Year! Our group of 13 enjoyed every part of our adventure. We chose the all inclusive 4 night package and found it to be great. The service is tops! Anything we needed or asked for was accommodated immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful. The resort... This has been really one of my best experiences in a Lodge of this kind. To begin, we wanted to find a place were we could rest and have fun at the same time. In this remote part of the Patagonia we found beautiful and comfortable rooms with an excellent view from all over the bay. Also, the outdoor hot... More

I have read some of the other reviews and accept the fact that some people did not enjoy their time at Puyuhuapi. This may be a function of staff fluctuations, weather or perhaps the way in which the visitor approaches his stay. Most likely it is a combination of factors and each visitor's experience is only a snapshot of that... More

The location is beatifull but it is misleading. Once you step in this hotel you feel that you are trapped.... there is no way to get out of there. you are forced to eat an overpriced awfull dinner with the worst service followed by a very poor breakfast. If you want to take a hot shower you need to open... More

Despite the gruelling travel to reach this hotel (for it it was 13 hours door to door from Punta Arenas), we were really pleased to have added a 3 night stay at this lovely termal spa hotel into our schedule. The remote location does make it feel special and the views and the surroundings are spectacular. We were very lucky... More

I booked with the Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa because it promised me a gastronomic and adventure experience where I could venture to the Parque Nacional Quelat to see the Ventisquero Colgante or Hanging Glacier. After consistently wonderful experiences at Explora, I thought that the Chileans had got the knack of providing luxury in far-flung corners of the country. Was I... More

My husband and I were the only guests at this hotel 9/10,11 and 12. The staff were all great including the chef. But since we were the only guests the hotel brought in someone to fix our meals (not the usual chef) and the food was not good. We finally determined to just have salads and cheese and bread. The...
