Chateau La Rametiere provides a well-balanced combination of 19th century style and 21st century luxury. And Christine, the warm and considerate hostess, made us feel at home. We stayed her for two nights before returning home. It's a great base to visit Mont St. Michel and places like Avranches and Granville (by car). Due to our tight schedule we were... More

The Chateau is truly beautiful. The setting in the pretty countryside of Plomb is very peaceful and relaxing. Yet only 10 minutes to any amount of shops, restaurants and 20mins to Mont St Michel. The decor in the Chateau is stunning and every last attention to detail has been met. Although it is grand the homely feeling is mostly due... More

We rented the holiday accommodation, for a family (two adults, two young kids). The area itself is lovely, the food (breakfast and dinner) stunning, the premises of the hotel - well taken care of and lovely. The lord lady - nice, good English and friendly. So, by now - you ask yourself what's not to like? Well, the holiday accommodation... More

I chose this Chateau because of its location to Mont St Michel but also because of the horses they raise. Staying here turned out to be the best night of our trip. Unfortunately Christine, the owner, had been called away and we were greeted by Elisse. Elisse spoke little English and we spoke even less French. We still have no... More

This was the first of 5 chateau that we stayed in - in France. It was a very impressive home, and our room was very nice, it was a bit hard to find, you definitely need the GPS. The owner is very friendly, and although there is a definite them of hunting lodge with the home, a stuffed wild boar... More

This is the most beautiful guest house with a fabulous garden and stud farm for Lippizaner horses. Our hostess, Christine, welcomed us (2 couples) to the chateau and showed us to our pretty, spacious and very comfortable rooms. We elected to dine at the chateau the first evening and were treated to aperitifs on the sunny terrace, followed by a... More

We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and well hosted overnight stay with our daughter (aged 6), with pre dinner drinks, a 3 three course meal and flowing wines. Our large bedroom easily slept 3, with a fantastic en suite bathroom. There is a large outside terrace for use in Summer and beautifully kept grounds with views over open country side. We... More

Stayed 2 nights at the Chateau, a beautiful property with grand rooms. It is a guest house and not a hotel (5 rooms only). We booked online and expected the service to be hotel like, so beware, it is not a hotel. Nevertheless, it was a nice experience. The site is gorgeous and the castle beautifully furnished. Our bedroom was... More
