I was singing in Ypres at a commemoration, and I wanted to stay in a local B&B rather than the usual big hotel, that often has little atmosphere. My wife and I decided a B&B, and we found this farmer's cottage in the middle of nowhere. We were travelling by Eurostar and contacted the owners of the B&B and spoke... More

Very welcoming, made my sons and feel very at home. Great knowledge of the area and WW1. I have recommended this B&B to my family. Very central for anything to do with WW1. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a place that you read about on places such as trip advisor and think "It can't be that good. I mean, really?" The difference between the Cherry Blossom and most places is that the Cherry Blossom delivers the goods. Rarely have I felt so welcome and cared for at a friends house, let alone a B&B or hotel.... Lovely couple running a B&B in their home. Extended to add rooms for guests, though you share the front room with the owners. Great breakfast and really helpful people, though you need to like cats as there are two who like to sleep on your bed and walk on the dining table. No wifi - interference from next door, and... We are very sorry to read that you had interference from next door. We have not had neighbours for three years and he has only just moved in. I wish you had said at the time, I could of said something to him. Re: Wifi - Yes, we knew it was weak and since you have been, the engineers have... More

John and Liz were so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, it was like visiting and being put up by friends ! We 'shared' their home, not ushered to a separate lone area or confined to the bedroom. Accomodation was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Good nights of sleep. Lovely English cooked breakfast, together with Tea/Coffee/Orange... More

Liz and John made us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely knowledgable and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Myself and my family have had such a lovely time. I'd recommend this b&b to anyone

A huge thank you to Liz from Cherry Blossom B&B who went out of her way to ensure we saw the best Ypres had to offer. From Hooge Crater, Trenches, Polygon wood, Tyne Cot Cemetery , an awesome meal to the Last Post at Memin Gate. Our brief stay in Ypres was made so special by the kindness and the... More

This was not just a B&B stay, but time in Liz and John's home. It was a long walk to Poperinge the first day, but John advised us on where we could park closer in for the second day of our stay. Having cats on site was a bonus for us. Plenty for breakfast, and Liz and John are good... More
