This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in abroad. I am a simple New Yorker who can't even find a decent well priced hotel in NY that compares to this. The staff is amazing and friendly and always helpful. They take pride in their work and what they can offer to their guest. Chef Jazmin is awesome and... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week in April, 2013, and the experience was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean, and the best part of all is that it's situated right in the middle of everything! We didn't even need a car! Def. recommend it, and we are def. coming back! Also, there was free... More

We visited the Las Terrenas in January 2013 as one of many destinations on our road trip around the Dominican Republic. I must admit that La Residencia del Paseo would not have been my first choice but everything else was booked by the time I got around reserving accommodations for this leg of our journey. The hotel grounds are not... More

This hotel possibly has the best location in all of Las Terrenas, right next door to the beach, to all the interesting boutiques and to many of the best restaurants. The rooms enclose a tranquil, lush garden that is always a pleasure to relax in, well away from the noise and exhaust fumes of the street. There are organized activities... More

Stayed there for new years as not else available in the higher level places. It was still about 150/night no all-inclusive. The most expensive nights of the year I imagine. Not bad considering and in great location walking distance to most bars Resto's etc.

Our flight out of Montreal had a short delay so we didn't arrive in Samana until 11pm. Samana airport (el Catey) is very small and hassle free. We were off the aircraft, through customs and out of the airport within a half an hour. Our hotel had arranged for a taxi to meet us and the driver was there. We... More

We stayed for two nights in a ground floor studio apartment with a small refrigerator for a decent price. The outside sitting area with the kitchen table was fully screened to the lawn and beautiful gardens outside. Building is unique and well laid out surrounding the pool. Very quiet.

The hotel is in an excellent location, the breakfast is good but you can get a cheaper price for the breakfast if you go and buy it yourself in the cafeteria, there's a lot mosquitos and cockroaches in the hotel room, the AC doesn't work properly, the water heater is OFF late at night and the pool is ok. You... More

The hotel is old and outdated, the place smells like mildew, intensely. The location is perfect, you are right in the middle of town. There is no restaurant on site and the bar at the pool is not part of the hotel so you cannot run a tab, or charge it to your room. The bar has sandwiches, you can... More

I can't say if this is the whole town because even in the parking I saw cockroaches flying(one to be honest) but in two nights stay at first one I had to go for baygon to a nearby market. In the other hand the place is not bad at all for the price you pay as it holds many people... More
