We stayed for 2 nights and were made very welcome. The bungalows are spacious and very comfortable with screened shutters and a very powerful ceiling fan. The best sleep we have had on our trip in 3 weeks in a king bed. The gardens are shady with comfortable beds and the breakfast is delicious. We also ate lunch and dinner... More

We went there the evening of a DomRep holiday. The place was closed. We went back a few days later. The place was closed. We tried again on a Friday night. The place was closed! Each time we walked up to the restaurant, were received by barking dogs and an owner yelling "cerrado". He didn't have the decency to put... More

We didn't stay in the hotel here but stopped in for a couple of drinks after a sunset walk along the beach. The waitress was very friendly, and the drinks were well priced and well made...it was an enjoyable evening. Only thing is the music could be updated... spice girls is a bit old these days. Luckily I had good... More

nice, clean, friendly, led by German. straight on the beach, away from noisy "downtown", good breakfast and restaurant. WIFI is working around center. no groups, only individual coupels looking for relaxing days.

I spent a weekend here and found it a little haven. Staff are warm and friendly; food though somewhat limited is really good and the beach is very pretty (though not tons of sand; ie the water comes up pretty close to the shore, although we were told this was due to the weather). The dogs at the guest house... More

Its a nice and silent place at the beach. Rooms are nice and simple. A refrigerator at the room would be handy. Also when I asked for the fridge in the kitchen the owner said ihe has a restaurant to purchase food and drinks.

We love this place - I stayed there twice - my first stay in the area, and the second time, while opening the house we bought nearby! Peter and Judit are super nice, the hotel is very charming, and Playa Bonita is the most beautiful beach in the area. This time, I put my son and his girlfriend up there... More

After I have been reading Jaimes Review (“Tuvimos que dejar el hotel al 2º día por culpa de los perros que tienen”; October 28, 2013) I felt motivated to add something about the dogs of Coyamar. We have been staying at the Hotel before, as we were thinking that the price-service relation is quite alright and the staff very friendly.... More

The coyamar is quiet little hotel at a fantastic beach. Especially if you look for some relaxing days at a beautiful and quiet beach. I would recommend it especially for families. Playa bonita is perfect for kids. The coyamar has an excellent room service and convenient rooms that are so airy that you won't miss an AC. European speaking :)... More

Compared to other hotels (and restaurants), hotel coyamar is our only option due to the quality of the food and the very uncomplicadet staff. If you have any special wishes, they try to make it happen for you. Peter and his staff is friendly and the food very good. Rooms are clean and the access to playa bonita is impecable.... More
