Me and my family stay here from October 31st to Novemeber 2nd. We were two families and all our kids were so happy for being in such a great paradise that they did not wanted to leave, even the younger one asked his Mom: Mommy can we live here? Service is great, people are always smiling, they are so kind... More

We went there for lunch with friends and kids. The food was really good, the service was nice and attentive without being intrusive. After lunch we were on the beach, kids were either in the pool or in the sea. In low season we were almost alone and it was so pleasant!!! Good and would not hesitate to recommend.

Bahia Estela is a fabulous condo right on a lovely clan, quiet beach. The main pool is ideal for young children although there's also a small kids pool. Most of the apartments are owned by Dominicans who come up at the weekends so it's pretty quiet during the week, although people renting the large houses next door or staying at... More

We were 9 people at 2 apartments for 3 nights. Apartments are beautiful and well decor. We only had a few issues: the air conditioner of one room did not work at all (they send technicians 3 times) and pet are not allowed (we call and they say yes) at any areas of the hotel, only at your apartment. Beach... More

I recently stayed at Bahia Estela and had an amazing stay! the beach is spectacular, Ocean Grill restaurant serves amazing & fresh fare, the staff is always friendly, diligent and happy to serve. I'm happy I tried it despite of the past reviews. Looks like it's under new management... Keep up the good work!

We tried booking a room for one night there for some friends. It took 7 days to finaly get someone to answer us. We received emails from 5 different people telling us we needed to speak to someone else... From sales, to guest service, to reception, back to sales again..... We went onsite to resolve this, waited over 45 minutes... More

We got the Bahia Estela by Viva on short notice as an exchange for another hotel we'd booked. It would have been an ok exchange and an agreeable vacation but for one thing towards the end that spoiled it all: On the beach of the hotel they repeatedly laid out rat poison and so poisoned the friendly dog family that... I stayed at the Bahia Estela from February 17-24, 2007 and I’m FINALLY getting around to posting my review... so here it goes... Rooms We stayed in a Superior room, which is the hotel’s standard room. It was small, but clean. The air conditioning worked VERY well and the unit was quiet. I found that the countertops were higher than... More

I'm afraid that previous reviewers got to this hotel a little too early. It was recently converted from a time-share and is just getting its legs as a boutique hotel as the owners advertise. The result is a small, relatively quiet hotel which is precisely what we were looking for. You can use all of the services except for the... More

This hotel has major issues. Some have already been posted. If you have no need for linens, beach towels, service, drinks or food then you will get along just fine. I would suggest skipping this hotel. Please see the large right up on this hotel in other sections of tripadvisor.
