This is a great litle bed and breakfast, there are three properties on this stretch that basically are the same, the Albachiaria is the top one just because it has a better breakfast but room comfort and amenities are the same even the layout is the same. The beach is across the road however if you walk 200yds to the... More

Nice location, extremely close to the beach but that's about it. The service has been mediocre since the beginning of our stay. We also had to pay upfront, which is unusual. When we got to our room the employee assisting us mentioned we needed to hurry it up because he was on his way out from his shift, which is... More

The Good: location, staff The Bad: Rooms need improvement especially the kitchen. Refrigerator door would get stock every time. Breakfast skimpy. Only one cup coffee and a couple of croissants. juice not fresh, no cheese or cold cuts. They charge upon check in. Did not try the pool or restaurant.

When we started looking at staying in Las Terrenas we didn't want a big complex hotel or an all inclusive so we found La Dolce Vita. Seemed good from the reviews and for the price you could not beat it. Separate secure bedroom, kitchenette and bath. Clean well cared for property. The pool was very nice and it really is... More

We were rerouted over here after overbooking at Albachiara - they are owned by the same folks. Although the Albachiara looks a little nicer in terms of amenities (might be a 4 star vs 3), LDV is really nice and for the money is fantastic. It's right across the street from the beach, and for all intents and purposes may... More

We traveled to Santo Domingo to meet up with our daughter interning at the Canadian Embassy for the summer. While we loved our escape one weekend to our first all-inclusive at Natura Park Beach Resort in Punta Cana, our visit to Las Terrenas and the La Dolce Vita Residence was our kind of vacation. A quick 2 hour bus trip... More

This hotel was by far my favourite place to stay because of its well presented facilities, spacious terrace and comfortable room- not to mention good sized pool and on-site restaurant- literally a stone's throw away from the beach. Las Terranes itself is a small but characterful little town with cosy eateries and bustling bars full of locals, overlooking the most... More

The hotel is very well located, but also quiet, no matter a lot of night places near. The beach is in front, but the best ones are outside the town. The rooms are well done, but look that has some time already, no matter well maintained. All the stuff works and when need something arrived fast and easy. Is not... More

My husband and I have been at this hotel three times in the last year. We live in La Romana , Dom . Rep. and we travel three and a half hours to Las Terrenas. La Dolce Vita is an apartment building. It has 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments, with 1,2 or three bathrooms accordingly. A modest kitchen, but complete,... More
