I hate to say it , but I am more than disappointed! The owners of casa Nina are not the same as before. There is a French family owning the place now. So things seem to have changed. 1) The Taxi did not show up to pick me up from the airport. This is not a very nice experience as... more

I hate to say it but this is the first time trip advisor has let me down and I never thought I'd be one of those reviewers who reckon they've stayed in a place different to the one other reviewers raved about but in this case I really wondered if I had arrived at the right hotel. I booked a... more

we stayed here after reading alot of reviews on this and other boards. Very nice people, lovely beach -literally a stones throw from your cabin- great restaurants everywhere. Idyllic town. Almost no Americans, or English spoken anywhere.I would highly recommend Casa NIna to anyone looking for an off- the beaten track low-key European B and B. As is the majority... more

Nice little place. Well located, across the road from nice beach with a couple of good little beach bars. Cottages are set in a garden and around a pool. Bed linens and towels are now a little tired. Open breakfast area is very nice. Great coffee but there is great bread available from local bakeries (thanks to the Europeans), the... more

Casa Nina is an exceptional find! The place is well designed and well kept. It is as close(60 seconds walk) to the beach as possible, and the tropical garden around the pool is wonderful. I looked at several other hotels in the area, and found this one to be by far the best value for the money. The rooms are... more

"As close as it gets to paradise" is the quicker way to describe how was my holiday in Las Terrenas. It's a fantastic location in the Samana peninsula about 200km from the capital Santo Domingo. Ok, the place it's great for itself, but my vacation couldn't be as good if the hotel were I was staying, was great too! I... more

I went to Dominican Republic for 1 month and decided to stay in Las Terrenas in the peninsula of Samana for a dream holiday. I opted for Casa Nina. The hotel is ideally located in front of the beach, not too far from the centre. I received a warm welcome at Casa Nina. They speak different languages and the staff... more

What a magnificent week I passed with my daughter at the Hotel Casa Nina. We had an exceptionel service and people were really courteous. We were near all the necessary conveniences and the atmosphere was brilliant. The sea is incredible and the landscape is remarkable. You want to know if I will return to it? Of course, without any hesitances!!! more

I have been visiting Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic for years and I didn't know this place had opened and being run by owners that have an excellent reputation in Las Terrenas. I immediately booked the room for 2 weeks in August, especially when I knew it was on the beach and had a room facing a pool. The... more
