I spent a week in January in hotel Atlantis and had a great time! I recommend the small plane trip to get there: its both fun and fast! The atlantis hotel is excellent located by playa bonita beach. They have a great seating area with long chairs by the beach at no extra cost. The restaurant there serves really good international and local food. However, the prices are a bit higher than in other hotels in the area eventhough they offer the same facilities and services.
