This hotel was chosen for me, and I'm glad it was. Staff were brilliant very helpful. Dinner was great the Windy Miller Pie a speciality. Breakfast was freshly cooked which is always nice when you eat something hot. Rooms were great too plenty of space, and in the charming old Mill.

Really delighted to find the Haselbury Mill. We were looked after very well even though there was a wedding going on in their Tithe Hall. Arrived late on a Saturday and were still offered a table for dinner. Excellent meal..... very good value. Very nice room with a good sized en-suite bathroom. One of the best breakfasts for this level... More

Came here for one night on a travelzoo deal and as soon as we turned into the gate we relaxed. We had a complimentary upgrade to the Oak tree suite in the old mill house, we checked in, the young man offered to carry my luggage and escorted us to the room. Quite a period room with a modern bathroom.... More

We arrived an hour early but that was no problem and we were shown to our room which was beautiful. We explored the stunning grounds and then had a drink in the garden to unwind - generous with measures and not expensive. We had booked our evening meal for 7pm and it was tastefully decorated and delicious. The staff were... More

We stayed for one night on an offer of room and evening meal for 2. It wasn't particularly expensive so one must take that into consideration. However, you wouldn't want to pay full price to stay here. The rooms are pretty basic and uninspiring, they are tired and old fashioned. Our shower leaked and the mattress was so old it... More

My wife and I attended a friends wedding reception here. The venue is VERY nice with beautiful scenery. The only problem was the food in the evening. They had decided on a burger and hot dog buffet, which sounded like a great idea to me. Unfortunately the execution of this was terrible, overcooked watery hotdogs and dried out over done... More

Dear MartockLennie, Thank you for taking the time to review Haselbury Mill. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the evening food served at a wedding you recently attended. Yes, another Travelzoo customer. But you can't fault the value of a one night break here. We arrived early and enquired about a cream tea. We were told to come back down once we'd unpacked. A table had been specially laid in the sunny garden and soon home cooked scones appeared straight from the oven - delicious! The evening meal... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Often described as “Probably the most beautiful setting in the South West of England” The original buildings date back many centuries and are of great local interest with a history stretching back to the times of William the Conqueror and are reportedly mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Haselbury Mill is truly the ultimate somerset venue to commemorate and celebrate the special days in your life. The three magnificent listed buildings & newly built Tithe Barn provide the focus of this superb conference, restaurant, hotel & wedding facility. The Georgian Mill owner’s house & adjacent cottages have been transformed into a luxuriously appointed 21-bedroom hotel all with High Speed Wi-Fi Internet connection. All rooms are en-suite and are exquisitely appointed to add that little touch of luxury to the beautiful surroundings. The original Mill buildings have been sympathetically converted to a stylish restaurant and underneath can be found a traditional local's bar with flag stone floors and oak panelled walls. The Four storey Granary building nearby encompasses a lakeside bar and restaurant and further function and conference rooms ... more   less
