Just came back from a lovely, relaxing couple of nights at Haselbury Mill. We were delighted with the surroundings as we arrived & we further delighted with our room. We were upgraded to the Bridal Suite which was full of character & charm. We dinned both evenings at Haselbury Mill & had wonderful meals. The steak was delicious! The staff... More

Used a Secret Escape deal £150 for 2 nights B&B with one evening meal. Easy to understand it is a popular wedding venue with beautiful grounds, and the Great Tithe Barn offering a great facility. We arrived after 6.00 pm on day 1 and whilst the member of staff was efficient there was a lack of warmth to the welcome... More

This is definitely another very disappointing example of style over substance. It is a stunning location, and the restaurant is beautiful, but the food!! Three members of my family had fish, crushed peas and rustic fries. The peas were stone cold and had to be sent back to be heated, and the fries were McDonald-type chips with the skin left... More

The food was fantastic and the room was lovely it was the one that a previous trip advisor complained about the blind being too short in the bathroom and no headboard.some people just love a moan haha.... I recently spent 2 nights at the Haselbury Mill as a short romantic getaway with my partner. The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious and well decorated rooms. The bed was very comfortable too! We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night and the food was delicious. Portion sizes are a little odd though - starters and desserts... More

This hotel was chosen for me, and I'm glad it was. Staff were brilliant very helpful. Dinner was great the Windy Miller Pie a speciality. Breakfast was freshly cooked which is always nice when you eat something hot. Rooms were great too plenty of space, and in the charming old Mill.

Really delighted to find the Haselbury Mill. We were looked after very well even though there was a wedding going on in their Tithe Hall. Arrived late on a Saturday and were still offered a table for dinner. Excellent meal..... very good value. Very nice room with a good sized en-suite bathroom. One of the best breakfasts for this level... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Often described as “Probably the most beautiful setting in the South West of England” The original buildings date back many centuries and are of great local interest with a history stretching back to the times of William the Conqueror and are reportedly mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Haselbury Mill is truly the ultimate somerset venue to commemorate and celebrate the special days in your life. The three magnificent listed buildings & newly built Tithe Barn provide the focus of this superb conference, restaurant, hotel & wedding facility. The Georgian Mill owner’s house & adjacent cottages have been transformed into a luxuriously appointed 21-bedroom hotel all with High Speed Wi-Fi Internet connection. All rooms are en-suite and are exquisitely appointed to add that little touch of luxury to the beautiful surroundings. The original Mill buildings have been sympathetically converted to a stylish restaurant and underneath can be found a traditional local's bar with flag stone floors and oak panelled walls. The Four storey Granary building nearby encompasses a lakeside bar and restaurant and further function and conference rooms ... more   less
