My family & I love to stop in - the lodge is only lacking a couple things - wifi is horrible - and air conditioning . The pools are great - steam room is the best - we have stayed there since I was a child - now my boys love to stop in . Beds are very comfy .... More

Three days and nights of fresh mountain air, natural sights & sounds, good exercise, and wonderfully-relaxing peace & quiet. Some more please!! Our recent trip to Manning Park and stay at the Manning Park Resort (late-July, 2014), took us (senior couple, and daughter) back to lodging at one of the standard cabins at the Resort. This was our second stay... More

Avoid this place at all costs!! Creepy and dark and in serious need of a renovation. The resort is right on the highway. The restaurant is extremely dated and if we had a reservation here, we would have left. "Chalet's" are also just off the highway with little privacy and a concrete from yard. I'm writing this as a warning... More

I have to say I was a little taken back as Manning Park Resort has never been described as Creepy. We are unable to change our location and for many guests, being close to the highway provides easy access to our amenities. In fact it is one of the easier ski areas to get to in the winter. The lodge... More

I had stayed in the small cabins before but this was my first time in the lodge. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and a great price! The pool was a little cool but the hot tub was perfect. A drive up the scenic lookout gives an amazing mountain/lake view. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this resort, ever. First of all, when we emailed to see if we could get an early check in, we got a reply stating they didn't know who we were. We then phoned and they did have our reservation. Then.... The first room we were given had mouse poop on the bed and the desk. They... More

I've been inside the resort, which is nice and quite cozy, and I've seen the cabins which are very basic and outdated. I usually just like to go tenting but my mother's getting too old for now so I wanted to book a 2 night mini holiday for mid July 2014. Turns out it is $537.54 for 2 nights in... More

I just read this review and was unclear if the people actually stayed with us. If they didn't, I would like invite them to do so we can give them a tour and show them the amenities of the resort and what the park has to offer.. More

Beautiful park and lakes but calling this place a "resort" is really quite a misnomer - it's really more like a rustic hotel. We arrived (by bicycle from Hope) on a particularly hot day to find no air conditioning in the rooms. We were told that the AC was not working, and that there were no more portable fans available.... I am not sure how long it was before I called you but I certainly do apologize in my delay in responding to your complaint . I can appreciate that the degree of frustration would vary depending on the information one is given. If told that there was no air conditioning a person could be surprised. If told that the... More

I'm being a little generous with the 5 star rating of this property (probably should be a 4 1/2), but I really enjoyed my stay here. The restaurant is not included in this review as that was a totally different story. A friend and I were taking part in the Manning Provincial Park Bird Blitz (count) and did not feel... More

Drove by a ton of times as a kid and had my parents explain how exclusive and expensive this property is. Heard the same so I avoided, heard recently about the 'troubles' and the possibility of losing this heritage spot. We decided to stay one night on our slow trip to the Okanagan. It was a sweet little treat that... More

This 'resort' is really designed for the dedicated walker and snow freak. Here in the off season it was really very quiet for a night stop over. It's very dated in appearance but kept clean and tidy and offered a good nights sleep. Others had complained about the restaurant but we found that to be fine with very friendly staff.... More
