I have been booking a cabin, almost every year, for about 15 years. I fly fish at Lightning Lake. The fly fishing experience keeps me coming back. I do not wish to stay at the Lightning Lake campground (where thieves steal your property -- that's a seperate story -- it's happened a few times). The cabins need work. They are... More

Our family goes to Manning both in the summer and in the Winter. We use the lodge and the chalets in the winter and camp up at Lighting Lake in the spring and summer. In the winter there is everything - skiing, snow shoeing, tubing, tobogganing, out door ice skating, indoor pool. In the summer you have access to use... More

What a wonderful trip! The staff was incredible and accommodating. Pinewoods staff were great and the food was terrific! The pub downstairs was great for after skiing with a great burger and beer special. There was a singer, Sayde Black, there with a great set of songs, taking requests and it really made for a fun afternoon . Highly recommend... More

Thank you so much Pamela for the great words.. We are fortunate to have Sayde in the Bears Den . As well as having a wonderful voice she also rocks with the Karaoke. We look forward to seeing you again. Mike More

Just before we headed for Cancun, we took a trip to Manning Park with our dog. The park is beautiful and staff is friendly. We rented snow shoes and walked all day with our little dog, he seemed to enjoy the snow which was his first time.

Our family of 5 recently stayed 2 nights which enabled us to ski / board for 2 days and also undertake a 2 hour moonlight snow shoe tour. The snow conditions were fantastic and hills/lifts were not crowded. We ate lunch both days at the ski lodge on the hill; food was good and service was above average. We had... More

Unfortunately we were only able to book one night as they were full but we drove from Vancouver regardless because we love the resort so much.It is a winter wonderland right now and we really appreciated the fires on in both the lobby of... We just had our winter wedding here over the weekend and it was lovely. It was also the first time our Aussie family have seen snow and they absolutely loved it! The resort is a little run down but the new owners have spent a lot of effort over the past couple of years updating it and bringing trying to... More

Just got back from a wedding at this resort. My friend and I booked a room with two queen size beds in the main lodge. First morning we awoke to the lady in the next room playing peekaboo with her toddler. Bring ear plugs as the walls are relatively thin. Housekeeping didn't come through on Saturday which was okay since... More

We had a Groupon and came with another family who comes here every year. This was our first time, and we were pleasantly surprised. We came to ski, and Gibson Pass was a pleasant step back in time. It was nice to park, hop out, and be right near the ticket booth, day lodge, and a very short walk to... More
