We stayed in one of the cabins. The biggest bed was a double and no air-conditioning not very comfortable for a 8 month pregnant woman thats for sure. A huge concern was that there was a mouse trap behind the tv stand in the living room. Luckily i found it before my toddler or my moms dogs could have caused... More

Stayed with my mum and dog for 3 nites. The cabin was comfy although stuffy, fans and especially bug screens in windows/door are really needed! The kitchen was equipped very well and clean, the fridge and stove were sparkling. There was no shampoo&conditioner and only 1 tiny body lotion, at a price of $220 per nite this was quite disappointing... More

I stayed there with a friend, end of July-early August, 2014. No A/C! Sleep was impossible for two very big reasons: 1) Way, way, way too hot--all night. 2) Way, way, way too noisy--24/7: -Semi-trucks jake-braking down the hill non-stop. -Harley dweebs brap-brapping their tough-guy toys to let us all know how tough, mean and oh-so-cool they aren't (unmuffled big-bore... We used to go here as a young family and decided to revisit. The area still has family feel because of the swimming, boating, hiking opportunities. The friendly California Ground Squirrels also make it a great opportunity for children and young at heart adults to mingle with nature just off the parking area. We stayed in the lodge for one... My family & I love to stop in - the lodge is only lacking a couple things - wifi is horrible - and air conditioning . The pools are great - steam room is the best - we have stayed there since I was a child - now my boys love to stop in . Beds are very comfy .... More

Three days and nights of fresh mountain air, natural sights & sounds, good exercise, and wonderfully-relaxing peace & quiet. Some more please!! Our recent trip to Manning Park and stay at the Manning Park Resort (late-July, 2014), took us (senior couple, and daughter) back to lodging at one of the standard cabins at the Resort. This was our second stay... More

Avoid this place at all costs!! Creepy and dark and in serious need of a renovation. The resort is right on the highway. The restaurant is extremely dated and if we had a reservation here, we would have left. "Chalet's" are also just off the highway with little privacy and a concrete from yard. I'm writing this as a warning... More

I have to say I was a little taken back as Manning Park Resort has never been described as Creepy. We are unable to change our location and for many guests, being close to the highway provides easy access to our amenities. In fact it is one of the easier ski areas to get to in the winter. The lodge... More

I had stayed in the small cabins before but this was my first time in the lodge. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and a great price! The pool was a little cool but the hot tub was perfect. A drive up the scenic lookout gives an amazing mountain/lake view. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this resort, ever. First of all, when we emailed to see if we could get an early check in, we got a reply stating they didn't know who we were. We then phoned and they did have our reservation. Then.... The first room we were given had mouse poop on the bed and the desk. They... More

I've been inside the resort, which is nice and quite cozy, and I've seen the cabins which are very basic and outdated. I usually just like to go tenting but my mother's getting too old for now so I wanted to book a 2 night mini holiday for mid July 2014. Turns out it is $537.54 for 2 nights in... More

I just read this review and was unclear if the people actually stayed with us. If they didn't, I would like invite them to do so we can give them a tour and show them the amenities of the resort and what the park has to offer.. More
