Hotel is decent for a 3 star. There is no coffee making facilities, also it's forbidden to iron in the room(?!). The aircon is very loud. Breakfast and dinner buffet is average, same food every day. Room service menu is limited. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, and most spoke good English. Hotel is a little difficult to find, have... More

I am staying here on buisness. The rooms are clean and quiet. Each room has a large enough balconly. Great workout area tennis courts, soccer field. Nice size play area for kids and a ok size pool. All in a gated community

The best thing of the hotel is that it's close the beach- less than 10 minute walk. Nice sand, good weather. You can walk along the beach for a good distance, not so many people. Hotel with security to a complex with very nice houses, should be higher income class living place. Hotel got outdoor swimming pool for children, tennis... More

My wife and I have been here for 11 days and can hardly wait to come back again. The beach is beyond wonderful. The buffets have been far more than we had hoped. The monkeys and Parrots have provided hours of pleasure, as have the turtles that are laying eggs on the beach each evening. The staff has been kind,... More

Everything about this place was really great. Check in to check out was perfect. Front desk staff was very helpful. Bar staff was great. Restaraunt (Buffett) staff did what they were supposed to. The pool area (did not use) was spotless, even the monkeys in the trees appeared to be happy. Rooms were excellent, very difficult to maintain a property... More

We stayed at the Bahia Plaza for two weeks. It's a little out of the way from the City of Salvador but well worth the effort to find yourself here. The staff is amazingly friendly and very helpful. From the dining room chef and various servers to the front desk, they do a tremendous job of making you feel at... More

My husband and I spent 4 days of our honeymoon there. The room is huge, the service is good, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly; however, it is not a resort as the name suggests; it is more like a comfortable hotel with some amenities. So, we got a little disappointed, but enjoyed a lot our... More

I recommend this location highly. The staff went above and beyond to help everywhere they could. Warm and friendly. Location is BEAUTIFUL. Relax and enjoy the beach, pool, restaurant or bar. It is quiet, safe and very tropical. Learn some portuguese and engage. You'll be surprised at how helpful the staff is when you at least try to speak their... More

Conveniently located just north of downtown Salvador and the airport. Comfortable rooms Good buffet restaurant, a bit noisy at times when lots of families with children are present. Entrance to fenced premises not easy to find off Avenida de Coco. Highlight: beach right next to the hotel
