I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very large - approximately 400 acres (including a golf course, beach access, multiple restaurants and shops). It is a bit pricey, but you get a lot for your money. Our one-night stay included an excellent continental breakfast, free access... More

My husband and I visited the Hyatt for our honeymoon after several good reviews from friends and co-workers. While the hotel grounds are lovely, the expensive room rate is significantly out of touch with the quality of the rooms themselves. Decor was tired and old, carpet stained and the tv was something straight out of 1995. Another key thing the... More

Putting this hotel in the Noosa section could confuse travellers from OS. It's in COOLUM, not Noosa. The two places are a long way apart. We stayed two nights over a long weekend last year. I'd been wanting to try this place for years, and as we booked last minute, there weren't a lot of places left to choose from... More

The entrance and driveway to the Hyatt Resort is highly impressive with attractive gardens, lily ponds and a green lush golf course. The resort is massive which includes seven tennis courts, nine swimming pools , a beach and health spa centre. Check in. – We arrived on a terrible wet day, it was a surprise birthday present from my husband.... More

We checked in on the final day of the PGA, probably the busiest day for the resort, and it went without a hitch. Our villa was perfect for a family stay with adult children. Self cater, order in, or eat out on site - all are possible. Because of the day we checked in valet parking was complimentary but it... More

I stayed at the Hyatt for a week with my husband and 14 month old son. I must say I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews. Yes, the resort is large and spread out, but there is a regular resort shuttle or you can ride one of the resort bikes, or you can just walk (it's not... More

My husband and i and our two under 10 kids stayed here, we were advised to choose our villa by the golf course--the resort is a bit dated but the staff were fantastic--especially the cleaning staff and the standard and 'going the extra mile' were outstanding--plus very friendly. We enjoyed riding the bikes around, down to the beach or to... More

Don't listen to grumpy people... this place is great. My girlfriend and I stayed there for a week-end and we loved every part of it. I read that people are complaining about the car park being to far... we didn't have the problem as we drove there follow by a golf buggy which drive us directly to our room (no... More

We planned a trip with our family and another to the Hyatt Coolum, which we have already been to twice before and have had a great experience. Banking on our previous trips here we decided to go with another family who have children at school with ours. Prior to arriving we contacted the hotel requesting adjoining villas. On our arrival... My wife and I accompanied our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren [7 and 10] on a 10 day stay to this wonderful family resort. We have enjoyed this resort on a number of occasions. The facilities are outstanding and there are activities for all. Staff generally are excellent; but like all organisations consistency of service needs constant attention. Housekeeping staff... More
