This was once the jewel on the Sunshine Coast but now it's a testament to what an oversized ego can do to a business.I stayed here 6 years ago with the family and we had a great time when it was a Hyatt hotel. This time I stayed here with a colleague on a business trip and couldn't believe it... More

Arrived into wonderful weather coming from Melbourne, staff could not be more helpful and polite. Resort is quite which was a us, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Golf course is one of the best I have played on then to be able to take a cart directly to bye beach was quite amazing

Attended a function at the conference centre in July. When looking for accommodation I chose not to stay here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, but chose to stay at Coolum beach, just a short 5 minute drive away. The Conference centre was a great venue - possibly up to 500 people there. It was rather a long hike... More

We felt like we had stepped into a weird movie. It was eerily quiet and seemed abandoned. Gardens were a mess and infrastructure old and tired. The ever present Palmer propaganda was subconsciously disturbing.Prices were outrageous and definately did not reflect the hotel experience we thought we were going to get. Skeleton staff were friendly.Kids loved the dinosaur park.We expected an... More

This resort was so vital to the well being of Coolum and other nearby businesses and it is terrible to see such a mere reflection of its past glories. Although most reviewers comment on how tired it is looking, what is worse is that you can wander around the grounds with barely a person in sight. I wanted to return... More

After reading bad reviews I decided to take my 3 yo for a look anyway and was quite taken by the park, I thought it was quite amazing and different. Maybe on the pricey side but still very enjoyable and something different :)

This resort is tucked away in the beautiful part along Queensland's Sunshine Coast. It's a short drive south of Noosa along a scenic coastal road. We drove up from Brisbane airport and our first impression was of a resort that has had better days. We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow. The layout encourages walking to and fro and it... More

I went there for a conference, it was still deserted. Very few of the conference people stayed on site - probably something to do with the cost of accommodation. Accommodation was a little dated looking but really clean, big and comfortable. The highlight was the food - excellent both in the restaurant and for the conference. Staff were friendly but... More

The Conference mentioned was attended by a significant number of day delegates - the majority of whom lived on the Sunshine Coast. We believe our prices are competitive. More

Visited the resort for a conference. As one drives in it is very obvious that thus place needs a good spruce up to its former glory. Conference venue was adequate. Staff were friendly and our food tasted were catered for. Even us Vegos! I just kept noticing things that needed doing around the place, the paint that needed refreshing, paving... More
