Having visited this Resort many times under the Hyatt banner, I thought I would give it another try. Really disappointing to see a lovely Resort so run down. The rooms have not been kept up, the property looked scruffy - all the little boutique shops have closed down

I know there are a lot of not great reviews coming forth on this hotel, but I must say we couldn't fault our experience. We were so impressed with the staff, right from being greeted when we pulled up, to reception to being taken to and from our room, the staff in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and the... This place is so run down I'm embarrased for the staff. Woodlands rooms are smelly, tired, old stained green carpet, dirty old furniture from 30 years ago - many are closed off with red-tape around them like a building site. Room service Stops at 9PM - very 5 star I don't think. The spa is closed! Most of the restaurants... More

I took my mother, sister, husband and child to visit palmosaurus on the 5th of January this year. what an absolute disgrace, and so disappointing. It was unfinished, to a very poor quality, and such a rip off. All of this information provided was very poor quality with no real allowance for the truth. I wrote a letter to the... More

I stayed at the Palmer Coolum Resort recently for a conference. What a huge disappointment. I have stayed there many many times over the years that it was Hyatt run. Believe the conference people were the only people in the whole resort. My room was clean and looked recently updated, but smelt musty. Very few staff anywhere, but I hand... More

We took the grand kids up stay the night and to view the dinosaurs but was very disappointed, with the main pool closed, some of the restaurants were closed and when we went back after dinner to see the dinosaurs at night it was closed when it was supposed to be open. The place looked very run down with hardly any... We recently held a company conference at the resort. The General Manager was very accommodating, and contrary to negative reports, we found the staff bent over backwards to provide service. The catering served throughout the two days was excellent. Though the resort has seen better days, it still has the charm of the bush and nature to enjoy. It wouldn't... More

I am leaving today after a three day conference and I have nothing but praise for the staff they were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My room was very modern and comfortable. The room was cleaned every morning, the Spa complex was impressive and I was treated like "royalty". The conference centre was very professional and everything... More

Wasn't sure what to expect after reading other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for a conference which ended with a conference dinner. We pulled up outside reception and staff were very friendly and prompt. After we had checked in, we drove our car down to the carpark and were followed by one of the staff driving a... More

We returned in early January 2014 from spending 9 nights at Palmer Coolum Resort. I am past angry, I'm offended. We have wasted our hard earned money on a what we thought would be a five star holiday. To be frank, this resort would barely pass 3 stars. The cost vs value is so disproportionate. This was our first family... More
