Although this place was a little out of shape the short staff did everything they could to please, the little buggies that ferried everyone from there rooms to the conference venues or the restaurant were fantastic I would like to commend them, they worked 24 hrs an with the staff shortest we often saw the same driver. We only did... More

I was dubious about staying at the palmer coolum resort after reading a lot of negative reviews, and hearing of second hand bad experiences. The reality was 5 star all the way, excellent staff and facilities, the golf course in top condition, the only thing was the expensive breakfast($30 a head and then extra for a coffee)make sure to include... I was a recent retreat attendee during the day and evening at the Palmer Coolum Resort. Although I didn't sleep there, i spent a lot of time at the resort and signed up for the conference's meal plan. So I got a good feel for the place. My main comments are on the meals and general condition of the the... More

We recently stayed at Palmer Coolum Resort at Coolum Beach. Unforturnately, the resort is very run down, barely maintained and staff are completely overworked and clearly very stressed trying to meet the needs of customers. Cars are to be left in a car park well away from accommodation. Psh bikes are provided to get around and there is a shuttle... More

Our room was really nice and pretty clean but the servicing of the room was a bit odd...coffee pod machine but no pods, not enough towels, two robes but only one pair of slippers... Ned Kelly's food was nice but the service was terrible. We asked for a wine menu and was told the wine menu was being updated. Later... More

As soon as you drive into the resort, it is very impressive. The grounds are lovely and green, a huge dinosaur to greet you. The service was fantastic and our buggy driver was very professional. The grounds are extensive and the golf course looked amazing. Loved the bike ride to the secluded pool and private access to the beach.... The... More

I stayed at this hotel in September and have only just found the time to review. Firstly let me say that the staff I dealt with were all great. Many told me they had been long time employees and you could just tell they missed the old days when the resort was loved and cared for by management. First of... More

Yes I wouldn't call this a "resort" in the true sense of the word, maybe a country club? It does need a makeover, I can imagine the rooms in their heyday were beautiful, but it is tired now. Little touches show how it must have been in its prime - the drinks cabinet - and the wooden tea and coffee... More
