We were greeted by a cheery man for check in. I chose a Superior room, as it was only a few dollars more than a standard queen room. The motel has rooms on 2 stories and we got a room on the ground floor. That was convenient for unloading / loading the car. The room smelt fresh and was spacious.... More

It just happened to be one of those weekend where it was booked out by 20 year olds who where drinking, running around, yelling ,screaming, and vomiting .. No consideration for others staying at the hotel. That was all weekend! Happened to be in room downstairs which was not a good idea! Mentioned to the owner the next day how... More

This place is ideally positioned for a weekend in Wangaratta and provides value for money. Good clean rooms which includes a minibar. I recommend this place for families and people who just need a place to stop and drop.

OK, it was Easter weekend. Lots of late-night comings and goings, One party next door, and another upstairs running until the wee hours and terminated only by the partygoers puking over the rail. A few noisy motorcycles. Having stayed at the idyllic Priory in Beechworth the previous night, it was a little jarring. Rooms were standard for a country motel,... More

We found the motel to be good value and a good location. Plenty of carparks. Not enough powerpoints in the room but that was the only problem for our overnight stay. Staff were friendly and were able to assist with venues for good local meals

Typical regional motel/motor inn. Clean, tidy. Parking on-site can be limited when you arrive back late in the day. Easy walk into the town centre. Tariff probably a little high for regional accommodation.

Easy check-in, comfortable room thats probably seen a few years, but clean and tidy. Fully stocked min-bar, working air-con, and working (albeit a bit slow) internet. The breakfast was great with some of the nicest scrambled eggs Ive had in a long time. Only had one thing missing, would have been great to have cable-tv i.e. Foxtel Movie channels. Would... More

We just needed a single night stay in Wangaratta NSW. Price was excellent $125 for the night. The room was spacious and clean with a separate table and 2 chairs for dining. There was a long bench down one side of the room with sink at one end. TV was on a swivel arm with remote control. Bathroom was big!... More

Located on the main street of Wangaratta, a few kms off the M31 Hume Motorway (Sydney to Melbourne) I requested and received a ground floor, non-smoking room. The room was clean and fresh - and huge. I was running late and rang ahead to ensure reception would be open and although I arrived well after their usual close time, I... More

Stayed 2 nights doing a winery trip to Glenrowan & Milawa. It was my first visit to the area & I was surprised at the size of Wangaratta itself. My room at the Warby Lodge (on the ground floor) was spacious and well appointed. Good sized bathroom and shower (always important to me). My cooked breakfast was excellent. Plenty of... More
