We paid $110 for a refurbished small room with a small, very dated, bathroom. Comfortable bed and the shower was good. The bed was about 6 inches from the wall so a bit awkward to get into unless you climbed over it. The aircon worked fine but only on/off, didn't seem to have a temperature control. OK for an overnight... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay with us. I would like to answer a couple of your concerns but it would also be nice to know who I am replying too. For $110.00 you actually stayed in one of our standard rooms. We do have Superior Deluxe rooms that have indeed been completely... More

After a few dodgy Budget hotel bookings we were hopeful about the upper end of Budget (Paragon) and were really pleased with the Ryley Motor Inn. The accomodation suited our means as we wanted 3 single beds in a separate but adjoining room for kids, (and they had their own TV). It was clean, very quiet and the hosts were... More

Booked in for one night on our way home. Was a nice clean room and was very quiet. Did a seniors discount.Would have no hesitation in staying there again.Handy to several restaurants though they stated in their directory they had charge back facilities but we ate at the Great Gourmet Chinese and they didn't seem to know anything about it.No big... An old fashioned motel that is very comfy and clean. I stay here on business and the owners are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are old and outdated but very clean. It is walking distance to the river as well as Coles & Kmart and there is no noise from the main road. The room has a... More

For 80 something $ per night, I was expecting something very ordinary and was pleasantly surprised by the Ryley. While it is basic in design and decor, it is quite comfortable and very clean and light. As well as quite a reasonable bed, there was a microwave and fridge, a table and chairs, good quality tv and free wifi. The... More

I take a break at this motel on my way from Canberra to Geelong. The motel has everything needed for an overnight break. Beds are comfortable, rooms are warm when cold and cool when it is hot. The ensuite is very functional. Hairdryer, and coffee/tea making faciilities. Flat screened TV.. The motel does not have a restaurant but it is... More

Having booked a family unit of 2 bedrooms for 2 nights we were surprised to be directed to a very dark unit. The entry led into the main bedroom with a queen bed, a small bench, little refrigerator, and microwave - nowhere to wash dishes or chairs to sit on. The other bedroom was internal with no ventilation and the... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night while touring around Victoria. Our room was small (I think it was the smallest one in the motel) but it suited our needs perfectly. The room had a new digital tv and new heat pump which we put to good use while it was -2 outside. The motel is within walking... More

If you're driving the Hume Highway between Melbourne and Sydney, this is a very convenient stop to break up the trip. The staff were really friendly, and they offer free DVD rental (though the selection is a bit limited) which was a bonus after a long day of driving. We stayed during Easter weekend and so I suspect we paid... More

Rooms are in need of updating. Carpet worn and old. Bathroom although clean was old with rust around taps. Some staff were friendly. Was not able to sleep in as the plumbing noises from next door was atrocious. You get what you paid for. The best thing in the room was the chairs which were very comfortable. I think I... More
