Hi, my wife and I stayed recently at this hotel to celebrate our second year wedding anniversary between the 19/04/15 to 23/04/15. We could hardly wait to check out as the first night the room flooded from a washing machine bursting it's hose from the laundry next to our room. We informed management, the best they did for us was... More

Whilst the pub is welcoming and the staff are friendly, the older unrefurbished hotel accommodation is poor. We stayed in the cheaper room which is a small concrete block-walled room. Only the TV, jug and fridge belonged to the 21st century and even then I cannot be certain of that assertion. The room had no heating, the shower cubicle is... More

$32 for frozen Chinese whitebait fritters? Chips that were cooked cooled and reheated, yuck, fish that was well over cooked , staff who didn't have a clue what was on or off the menu, disgrace to the industry, would not last 2 minutes in a city. Would only go back to give them a piece of my mind.

We booked in on line so wasn't sure what to expect. A room out the back with ensuite and right in the centre of the village. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. No off street parking was a bit of an issue as we were on motor bikes. Well worth it and will stay again.

We were plesantly surprised when we walked into our room at the New Orleans Hotel in Arrowtown. It was nice and modern, as opposed to the old historic building it is in. The bed was comfy, good big TV, excellent spacious shower with good volume and pressure. I believe some of the rooms had beed refurbshed recently (like ours), where... More

Ok are one night on the way through, room in very average condition and the place was not great. Food at the pub was good, personally I wouldn't stay here again and recommend one of the motels in Arrowtown.

After doing Shotover Jet, my friend and I had breakfast here. Service was a little slow, but the view from the patio and the quality of the breakfast made me quickly forget that! Inside decor is fun as well. A great place to eat while in Arrowtown.

If you are stuck stay here, it's clean but that's it. No service, noisey and tv doesn't work. It's in such a gorgeous town with really amazing places, we stayed somewhere else for the other two nights arrowtown motel apartments and they were amazing. It's 2015 motels don't have to be rubbish.

This old budget hotel would rate a star, not 3 stars. The bathroom is from a distant delapidated era. May be the roman era. The holes in the shower complimented the hole in the roof of the bedroom. The TV must have come off the ark. The wifi is good.

I only visited hotel for a bite to eat on an evening out with son and Gf while visiting from UK. What a disappointment. The Thai chicken with chillies was terrible and the rice like a boil in packet offering. The lamb shank the son had had to be carved from the bone with poor vegetable accompaniments. Would not recommend... More
