This is the second time we have stayed here. We chose this motel because of the quality of service and cleanliness and the location. My husband and I had one motel unit and our daughter, son-in-law and their 3 month old had the unit beside us. Both units were spotlessly clean, had everything you could require and maintenance wise, well... More

We've just returned from our second stay in the Viking Lodge. We choose it for the very reasonable price for a family of four but also because both visits we've been very pleased with the little chalets we've stayed in. Spotlessly clean is the first thing I noticed both times. I was incredibly impressed with just how clean everything was.... More

We arrived late due to the poor weather and traffic from Chch - Arrowtown. Sheelagh ( the manager ) welcomed us at reception and we were quickly in our room after a brief info guide on what was on nearby and we were pleased with her recommendations for things to do while in Arrowtown. The lodge was clean and tidy... More

This was a nice place, but nothing really stood out other than having a washing machine in the unit. This was great for us, being a party of three and in need of doing some laundry! Arrowtown is a beautiful place and a much better place to stay than Queenstown.

This motel was nice. Had washing machine in suite. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Rooms were very spacious with 1 bedroom and a loft. Location is about a 15 minute walk into Arrowtown shopping area.

Stayed here with a sports team. It was fine for our requirements. Reasonably priced. Very handy to Arrowtown and a short 15 min drive to Frankton where the sports event was held. Beds were comfortable. Although shower very small, water pressure was great. Rooms were basic (as you would expect with the price) but had everything we needed and had... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Was quite pricey but met our need. Furniture is a bit old fashioned and the large screen tv dwarfs the room. Loved the washing machine in the bathroom. Easy walk to Arrowtown - quaint town. We drove to Milford Sound from here which was a very long day out -but well worth it. Handy for... More

Clean and a comfortable bed but old fashioned. Bedside lamps would be a very good idea. Also, there was only a small table and one chair outside-it was very hot when we visited so had to take a second chair from another empty unit. These chalets are supposed to sleep 6!

Thank you for your review and I am happy you thought the unit clean and found the bed comfortable, however, If there were no lamps beside the beds its because they are attached to the wall above it. Loungers, chairs and tables are spread round the swimming pool, and also several picnic tables in the back yard for guest use.... More

We were struggling to get somewhere and Biking Lodge could fit us ink for 1 night. Reasonably priced, self contained property. Very comfortable and clean. A little dated but not a problem. Full kitchen and also had a washing machine in the property. Had everything you needed and the owners of the Lodge were very friendly and helpful.

This place is a gem, it's not the usual type of place we would choose to stay at, preferring something a bit more upmarket but we had a few nights here as part of a cycling holiday and were really impressed with the accommodation. The units were spotlessly clean and very well appointed. In fact it's made us re-think future... More
