Dirty room with some strange smell coming from somewhere TV not working Rude disinterested staff in all sections of this alleged Roadhouse Waited ten minutes in the empty bar to get a drink Waited forty five minutes for a meal Ordered a rare Rump steak and wish I had taken a photo of the burnt offering with a piece of... First strange thing when we filled up with fuel was that we had to take drivers licence to counter first, then a $10 (cash) deposit so we could have room key for which we had paid $130! (Staff told me they are the best rooms). In the room we had to make up the bunk bed for our son before... More

We stopped for fuel and lunch. The girl was rude and unpersonable and lied to us when we placed our order. We asked for three coffees and she said the machine did not work and that we could make ourselves an instant coffee near the table seating. We were seated right beside the beautiful coffee machine that did not look... More

A little gem in an otherwise unpleasant place. Didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms, but really nice home cooked food awaits. It's not flash, but it is tasty and properly cooked. One of the best omelettes I've had. Great staff and service AND you can pick up the latest CDs if you've got the long stretch to... More

Yes it's in the out back but unstained linen would have been a little nicer. We used our own on top of what was there could leave soon enough. Night staff checked us in and was welcoming but the day girl was not friendly at all.. In the end we got some sleep and a shower that's what we wanted..

Not my first time through the outback so did not expect much, but was still disappointed. It was a 42 degree day so wouldn't expect the air conditioner to make the room icy, but it didn't even cool the room by a few degrees, and it's only a tiny room to cool. Cannot adjust settings on air con neither. The... More

Simply things are often the best. Like driving 900km and then expecting to watch the end of the Boxing Day cricket match. Booking into the motor inn was easy. Finding the small room with a double bed and bunk beds easy. Trying to get reception on the tv, impossible. When this was brought to staff attention I got a rude... More

My family of 4 foster kids, two dogs, my husband and I arrived exhausted travelling home to the NT from NSW. We were given a room which was reasonable and we really appreciated getting accommodation at the last minute during a peak period. We went to the restaurant and many others were served before us even though we had been... More

Cockroaches on the beds, bugs crawling over us all night, holes in the wall, had to make our own beds, sugar half eaten by something. Air con barely cooled the room. Luckily we only paid $130 for the night. One of the staff members an nd girl was rude, food was expensive but terrible, it was hot in the dining... More

Book online, will get online price. Double room $98 for online price, but the full price is $129. Room is very basic. You can not expect too much when you travel at outback. No microwave, but the staff in the cafe was very nice. They warmed our dinner for us. The only excellent facility is the cafe at the reception,... More
