We stayed one night and it was the most unpleasant experience we hat on our 3-week-trip. There was a sign on the office door that they wanted to sell the motel, perhaps that is part of the problem. It started with the reservation (the online reservation link does not seem to work), I called two times but did not get... More

I've stayed here a number of times over the past few years (most recently in December 2013) because it's the cheapest in town. However I keep forgetting how hot the rooms are. The old box air conditioners really struggle to overcome the heat and they're really loud, which means you're not going to get a quality sleep. The rooms may... More

The room was very dusty, carpet dirty, cobwebs and spiders, curtains would not close as they were hanging of the track, looked like blood on one of them, paid $120, worth less than half that. this was the 9th room we stayed at so far and by far the worst I have ever stayed in. Payed $79 for budget room... More

This was average because I thought that it wasn't very safe to keep your vehicle on the premesis due to the fence not being high enough to avoid vandalism. rooms were average but hey it is tennant creek so my expectations weren't too high. for a sleep and rest it was pretty good still

We had two stays here - due to distance of travel we were unable to move our accommodation elsewhere on the return journey. The bed was the worst in our 6 week trip. Cigarette smoke permeated the room and bedding. The room is in need of refurbishment. The inside of the cupboard is so bad cutlery and crockery are kept... More

Avoid this place!! The room was smelly and the carpet was disgustingly dirty. There was a huge water stain on the ceiling and the paint was peeling off the walls. Air conditioner did not work - even after cleaning the dirty filter. We paid a $100AUS for the room and we couldn't help but feel ripped off. There are other... More

It's pretty basic but for $90.00 per night, it was pretty good value. The room was clean and not too small (as was the bathroom). They don't have room service but plenty of restaurants in the area. Across the road there is a restaurant called Fernandas. Definitley worth trying when you are in town. The hotel offers breakfast though and... More

I find this review unfair (I've only just come across it). The Safari Lodge used to have the backpackers just across the street and I'm sure that is what he is referring to. Many people have from Alice Springs and Darwin stayed at the Lodge for years and are quite happy with the Motel. I personally have recommended it to... More

A tired dirty run down hotel. There was paint peeling off the wall and the bathroom tiles badly need a scrub not just a wipe down. I had to clean the air-conditioning filter before it would work properly and there was no way to lock the front window.
