Great spot to spend the night, $10 pp/pn with lush green grass sites, warm showers, camp kitchen, laundry and even a bar. No powered sites, easy access for vans and tents. Camp host is friendly and creates a warm atmosphere around camp, and the camp fire. A must!

We stayed there with our caravan while heading to Darwin. We were greeted by Marie with a cheery smile and after setting up van we were soon joined by about 5 other vanners. No power but the water is pure spring water and is beautiful. Happy hour lasted 2+ hours and our hosts offered us a run to check the... More

We arrived about 5pm to a green shaded oasis. The owner's dog was a great door bell for the property and the owner appeared promptly as a result of the dog's barking. Having the choice of the whole camping area was great. Toilet/shower block and camp kitchen were clean and well maintained. There was only one other camp set up... More

Oh my goodness, we enjoyed our stay here. We welcomed the green grass and shade after a long trip towing our van from Mt Isa. We stayed with our cat, they are pet friendly and the amenities wasn't that bad. Felt a bit like shearers showers, but they were clean and there was lovely cold water on a hot day.... More

We weren't expecting much to be honest. But when 3 dirty, dusty cyclists rocked up, Banka Banka couldn't be more welcoming. Clean facilities, beautiful sunset, and when they realised we were almost out of food, they went out of their way to re-supply us. The all our friendliness made this one of our fav stops in NT!

We stayed at Banka banka in June 2012. Wonderful place, we had 2 nights there and totally relaxed. Campfire and the conversations were sensational. Managers were very friendly and helpful. Cheapest washing facilities on our entire trip. So grassy after being in the dust and dirt. We will be back if we travel this way again.

It is dusty out west and we were growing tired of the grit in our shoes...then we stopped at beautiful Banka Banka. What an oasis this place is. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the managers were helpful and we were made to feel welcome and included. We have a 24 foot van and there was... More

It's is really a caravan park set up on a cattle station. Sites were grassy and service was excellent. Prices were very cheap. They was a communal fire and some great entertainment, all free. A entities were basic but very clean and included everything you needed. Highly recommend a stay here.

A very convenient campsite for an overnight stay - located just off the Stuart Highway 100 km north of Tennant Creek on a pleasant cattle property. At the end of June it was busy and fairly full but the drive-through caravan sites were well organised, on level ground and all had water, no power. The facilities were clean and basic... More
