we had a stopover here on the way from Alice Springs. We didn't expect much seeing it was in the middle of nowhere. The staff were really friendly and the sites were roomy with good clean facilities. Plenty of UFOs around. We had dinner at the roadhouse/reception area which was quite good.

What do you expect from the UFO Capital of Australia… Weird experience all around. Staff were a bit unsure of what accommodation was available. Got a "cabin" which was fine, a motel room really without an ensuite. Strangely eclectic collection of international and local beers in the roadhouse. Food was well presented and surprising fresh and tasty, considering the reaction... More

What a mistake! Avoid stopping here and staying in the motel section. Large loud groups of intoxicated locals sit right outside yhe rooms in the "beer garden". The restruant, etc were very basic at best. Stinky bore water showers. Not worth the money. Should have kept going to Alice Springs. You can't use the pool unless you are happy to... More

Wycliffe Wells is very possibly the worst caravan park in Australia!! I know that is probably too broad a statement but it is without a doubt the worst we stayed in during our 5 week tour of the centre and east coast and we stayed in over 30 different parks. I have absolutely no problem with a caravan park being... More

This place really is in the middle of nowhere which you must take into account when staying. The $80 budget room was basic but comfortable and clean. The air con was a little noisy and took a while to start cooling but was doing the job by the time I'd been for a walk around the park. The shared facilities... More

This place doesnt pretend to be anything more than a highway stop. The prices are what you would pay any where else with the upspin of being a very quirky special place. I paid 80 for the room which is standard up and down the track. There was no onsuite which is fine as not sharing the room it was... More

The holiday park is about 28kms south of Devils Marbles and is attached to a service station. At the time we were there 31/9/13 fuel was 209.3/L. The service was quote poor by the staff who appeared to be backpacking tourists from the UK. We booked an Unpowered site however there are powered and also cabins there too. The size... More

This place is a great place to stop overnight. Our kids loved it.the animals and the whole UFO thing make this more than just a caravan park..a bit corny... .but funny..we had a nice shady powered site so can't comment on the other accommodation.

There were some nice sites to choose from especially as we required a drive thru. Amenities were OK but entering through a dirty, plastic strip door really turned you off, to sum it up the place needs a bit of an update. However the murals on the buildings were lovely. But as previous comments have stated this is one of... More

We stayed in a powered site which we were able to choose ourselves. It was a gravel site which was a welcome relief to a dirt one the outback is notorious for! The kids enjoyed the alien theme & yes the art work is very good. They also have emus & baby chicks, chickens & horses. There is an abundant... More
