Stayed here upon our visit to see the canyon. Stayed here as the options were limited and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were basic, but clean. The grounds were looked after, and the bbqs were the cleanest I came across on my travels from Sydney. The toilet facilities were clean, however you do come across the occasional spider (which is... ALL Staff a credit to the resort. Campground facilities were spotless wildlife was wonderful... lizards and birds amused us in the pool area and dingoes strolled past us at night with no annoyance..had been alerted that this may happen when we checked in. Pool was a welcome relief in 40 degree heat. people just need to be aware that it... More

We stayed in our camper trailer for three nights, and had one of the sites directly overlooking the canyon. The location was great, and the proximity of the tavern is great for a beer, or pub food. As to be expected, the food and drink are overpriced, but civilization is a long way away. Now for the down side: 1.... More

We found the dorm rooms very comfortable and tidy. They even provided towels. The swimming pool was fine. The toilets and showers I thought were fine and clean. Overall the place fine. The staff were friendly at reception and as there weren't many people staying in the dorms they gave each couple their own dorm room and didn't put us... More

$45 per night for a powered site in the off season seemed a bit pricey. However, it's very handy to the local attractions and offers a number of dining options. Our site #66 had uninterrupted views of the range but very little shade. Pool was ok but not a lot of shade. Staff were helpful. The food at the Bistro... More

We stayed on a powered site in our van for 2 nights. At $23 per person, per night it was $92 for the two nights and far too high for what was offered. The reception area is smart modern and promises a lot. The staff were friendly and easy going. The grounds were spacious and well maintained, the pool is... More

We have just stayed in the camp ground in our caravan it was $42 a night. We were woken at 4:30am in the morning by other very inconsiderate campers slaming car doors and talking, starting their engines etc went one afternoon to get a drink at the Bistro and had to deal with some very rude staff and they had... We were dismayed by a lot of the reviews before our arrival. However having stayed a couple of nights we were really happy with everything? More amenities than we've ever seen and they were in good order. Staff were fantastic, food and drinks comparably priced to other remote locations. We had a fantastic spot with a beautiful view of the... More
