Stayed for two nights in dorm room that sleeps 4-5 people, actually perfect for the family if camping is not your thing. Went in July so was freezing cold at night. The room has awful mattress, small fridge, non working flat screen TV and a kettle. But...you are not really here for the comfort. Scenery was awesome. Advise, do not... More

We booked 2 powered sites 6 weeks before we arrived, on the day we checked in to find that only1 site had power & water. We went up to reception to be told by the an officious upstart that "of course there was power" and he drew circles on my map to show all the supposed points. He met us down... More

Kings Canyon itself is spectacular. The only available accommodation nearby was not. My partner and I stayed for two nights in the campgrounds (at $40 per night for an unpowered site). The first day there was no hot water in the showers and no notification that this was the case. The 'barbecue' facilities were several broken barbecue with no hotplate.... More

We have a tiny camper and a kitchen tent and felt a bit surrounded by loud caravans blasting their air conditioning (jealousy perhaps?) The campsite was nice and shady, couldn't get pegs in due to so many cars/caravans in the past though. The boardwalk is lovely, we walked that a few times we were there. Bring you own food! Bread... This is a amazing location, Kings Canyon omg I had never heard of it and we travelled from Adelaide through Ayers Rock up to three ways then across to Port Douglas Qld then down Qld Coast to Brissy then back to Adelaide all in 5 weeks. My without a doubt favourite place was Kings Canyon, spectacular views and walks that... More

We arrived with our caravan to be greeted by claudine and we're put on a powered site with magnificent views of the range. Had a problem with washing machine which was fixed immediately. Complaints only about exorbitant cost of alcohol and fuel being 20cents litre dearer than places near by. Can charge what they like as we have no choice.

This review is written from the point of view of a Glamper. We camp but as we carry a fridge we usually get a powered site which means we can have the other luxuries that power can give you. The resort here provides two options, you can have a nice camp site or you can have power. You can’t have... More

We found this park very welcoming with friendly staff. Amenities were clean and in good order and it has a lovely swimming pool. The resort restaurant has nice meals and there was a country and western singer in the bar / BBQ area who added to the atmosphere. There are great walks and a sunset viewing platform, with a bar for... More

We were sorry that we booked two nights here as the amenities were lacking. The cost of an unpowered site was $39 and with no camp kitchen facilities that we could find we thought this overpriced. The kitchen shelters provided a table with bench seats, a preparation table and a sink with cold water. One area had a barbecue under... More

After checking previous comments, I booked site 55 - which was just perfect. Shame the BBQ did not work, but we had a campervan and cooked our steak in there. Prices of fuel etc are high - but considering how far it is to get there, that is to be expected.
