We (3 seniors) one from UK, had 4 nights here. We booked a room with cooking facilities and it looked a good size on the site. It was one room, with an ordinary double bed and 2 bunks. We had what we wanted but it was very small for 3 adults and would be a squeeze for 4. Aircon was... More

I have been staying at Knotts Crossing many times over the last 30 years and it is our accommodation of choice when visiting Katherine. The Motel accommodation is on a par with any family motel: clean, tidy and safe. The Bunkhouse self contained rooms consist of double bed and bunks then there are the Cabins which have their own outside... More

A nicely laid out resort..very green and lush. I chose the village room because it had cooking facilities and the rooms looked spacious. They must have used a fisheye lens as it was tiny. It was very basic with no bedside lights, a noisy air conditioner and a tiny bathroom. (With hindsight the reasonable price should have been an indicator.)... More

Spent 3 nights here in mid April, travelling with camper trailers. A great little retreat in the middle of one the most spectacular areas in the top end. Ensuited Sites were a welcome change from the shared amenities that we had become used to.

Arriving late decided on a cabin, checked in after $20 hike on the net rates and then stood over while we finished dinner at the restraunt, only to be woken by house cleaning to report to reception early in the morning. Never again after years of visiting as a child and now an adult. If you want a peace getaway/full... More

Probably the nicest place you could find to stay in Katherine, we had a cabin which was very clean and had an outside bathroom. They looked better than the hotel rooms and village rooms and are the cheapest of the 3 options with a good outside eating area. The large pool was good for families, we didn't go to the... More

My husband and I travel a lot. We have lived in many hotels during our travels, and have never stayed in such a filthy place. The carpet was worn out and virtually black. The shower was dirty and leaked all night. The hand basin wasn't just unclean, it seems to have never been cleaned at all! The sheets and linen... More

Stayed here on business for a fortnight. The food in the restaurant is well above average and is the highpoint of the place. Other positives are the pool and the tranquility of the place, a couple of km from the Katherine main drag. Staff were good too, and as helpful as they could be. On the downside, my cabin/unit was... Stayed the weekend in a family room. Well maintained, friendly staff, good facilities - two pools, restaurant and bar, conference room. Only downside, no free wifi. $12 for 24 hours but I had difficulty activating it.
