We live in darwin and often travel through katherine. We have tried lots of accommodation in the past and this weekend tried knotts crossing. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 9 and 7. We were first put in the village....Do not stay here! It used to be an old workers compound...and looks pleasant enough with its... More

We arrived just before they closed reception and had booked a bungalow. After we packed up all our stuff we wanted to take a walk but we couldn't lock the entrance door. Fortunately we saw the receptionist smoking outside reception and he was happy to change room for us. So we got upgraded to a family room with 2 big... More

We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for our family of four. The bathroom is separate, only metres from the cabin which was not an issue. The cooking facilities came in handy. The kids loved the main pool with the spa (didn't get time to use the second pool). Wonderful location on the road to Katherine Gorge. Great... More

Me and my class where staying here for two days. I myself expected it to be similar to a place we stayed in near bachelor. We where disappointed. The bathroom was outside and the light was blown, when i asked reception to get it fixed the woman at the desk wrote a note on a piece if paper. Day 2... More

Hello, I'm a Sri Lankan visitor and I had reserve a cabin there for spend our holiday in Katherine. It was one of very bad experience I had specially in Australia as a developed country. 1st - the head lady receptionist who was bit unpleasant for guests. I have no idea how they can make more guests in this way.... More

Stayed her in the past in a cabin which was OK if out-dated with outside facilities including hot water. However, this time upgraded to a village room which was past its best some time ago. The basin was degraded and filthy and need replacing. The air-con struggled to cool the room. Verandah lighting shone all night. Rooms left open all... More

Good location on the road to the Katherine Gorges. Preferable for those traveling with campervans or caravans. Our cabin had a double bed and two bunk-style single beds. The cabin was very small (10-12 square metres) so a family of 4 would be very cramped inside. There was nowhere to put suitcases. The bathroom and toilet facilities were not ensuite... More

Not in the habit of writing negative reviews but feel this is warranted. Stayed in motel section with husband recently. Girl at reception sadly was rude (did not pass on our booking to restaurant). The room is dark and the bathroom full of mould. Shower inside and out had mould growing profusely and also in vanity sink. Bedspread belonged in... More

I have traveled extensively around Australia. Never in my life have I been so disgusted with a resort room. The bathroom was filthy, bed uncomfortable, I scratched all night, probably was bitten by bed bugs or similar. TV remote sticky. Was woken after midnight by screams: no murder, just a dirty big rat, next door. Never again
