Great campground. Grassed sites, (unpowered) good camp kitchen and wonderful pool for all. The toilets and showers excellent. Close to katherine gorge and a great visitors centre. A well maintained campground.

Was enjoying it until tonight when decided to go to pool 's outside restaurant for meal. after asking for a child's meal (from menu) and explaining my medical reasons (no stomach due to cancer) for only wanting child's meal, was refused because I was over 12yo. This made me feel discriminated against and embarrassed. Was planning to stay another day... More

Nitmiluk is well worth a visit, but avoid booking the tent accommodation. The 'tents' are small corrugated iron single room 'boxes' with bunk beds. I have enjoyed 'tent' accommodation in other echo style camp grounds and resorts which were spacious canvas tents that could be open to the environment or closed to suit the time of day, privacy requirements etc.... We camped on an unpowered site. Great value for money, there is even a pool and a bar which we didn't expect. It was very peaceful at night time and the location is perfect for accessing everything that Nitmiluk has to offer. The toilet blocks were kept very clean and the showers were hot. I will be back again.

Two couples, 1 night staying in a clean, aircon lovely chalet (cottage) We hadn't stayed in this style of accomodation before and I think we were all surprised in how good this place really was. Good pool with a bar & well cooked meals. Friendly & fun.

Just spent a night in the chalet at Nitmiluk national park. Great setup there. It was just a little jayco unit with a small living area, small but well appointed bedroom and a nice little ensuite and was spotlessly clean. There was even a little dolce gusto coffee machine. We brought our own BBQ food and had a nice dinner... More

We visited the Nitmiluk Chalets and Campground after the worst of the rainy season when there were very few guests. It's not a great time to visit the park because many of the gorge tours are not offered and the weather can put a damper on things. Having said that, despite the low number of guests, the staff were very... More

It's nearly 30 kms from the town of Katherine and doesn't have much to do around it. However, for nature lovers, it's pure bliss. Pretty quiet with regular visits from the local wildlife. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and are adequate. They kept the air conditioning on just before we arrived. Very thoughtful considering the sricky weather... More
