There are several caravan parks in Katherine. We chose this one because of its location close to the hot springs and relative proximity to town. The park was somewhat dusty but we had a lovely site for our motorhome, with a brick “patio” and palms all around us. Showers, toilets and laundry were located in a large, modern and very... More

We stayed for 2 nights on a powered van site. Reception and staff were good, we arrived early and had prebooked. Site was nice and shady and quite large with a concrete slab, and was easy to back into. Park fills quickly and pre booking is recommended. Cheap good meals at the roadhouse attached to the park. 5 minute walk... More

$36pn powered site. There is not much river in view, however this is the closest park to the thermal springs – 32 degrees. Nice large mostly shaded site. Helpful staff / reasonable facilities. Like many caravan parks and other accommodation, reception staff take phone calls even when they are in the middle of a check-in with people in front of... More

Our family of five stayed here for one night and it was terrible from the minute I walked into reception. Rude staff and hideous over pricing; 65$ for a tiny unpowered tent site with no grass squashed in between the highway and the truck yard next door. We got up and left as soon as we could and I will... More

No fuss caravan park....Sunday night. Great thermal spring nearby. Park was quiet. Amenities fine. And! Dog friendly. Music for cuppla hours......only downside....shop / petrol closed at 6 pm on Sunday night. A little on pricey side for caravan site.

We were gonna stay in Katherine for two nights. Most of the tours were closed for the wet season. Chose this place because it was just right in front of the hot springs - which was not hot. It was within walking distance of about 500m via a small gate behind the park. You turn right and walk a small... More

Well setup caravan park with all the necessities. Close to the thermal spring and the Café next door (Barra maybe?) was great. Kitchens are in good nick but they are completely outdoors so little protection from wind and rain. Probably would stay here again. Think it was about $35 for a powered site with just turning up on the night.

This is my first negative review on Tripadvisor. I normally stay quiet if I don’t like something, but I feel I must warn other families about this place. Our autistic son chose this place to say and our brochure said it was from $27 for an unpowered site. Imagine our horror when we got there and the rate was $62.... More

Stayed here on the way to Darwin & on the way south again. One of the older parks we have come across but on both occasions staff at reception were friendly and willing to assist if they could. Some of the facilities are outdated but they are clean and tidy. On our first stop we had a site at the... More
