We paid $35 for an unpowered site which is fairly ridiculous, but it was really hot and we have two little kids so being able to use the pool made it totally worthwhile. The pool was awesome! Great shady grass, great kids pool and great atmosphere. We also indulged in some food at the outdoor eating area - $28 for... More

Nice simple bungalows, a good quality restaurant (mostly burgers though), a well equipped bar and really good strong espresso. And it's the perfect location for doing the yellow water cruise (it's only a few minutes from the boot ramp) and for a tour to the Jim Jim falls.

Loved Kakadu, especially the sunrise tour (only one to do!) of Yellow Waters BUT the 'rip off' costs of food & drinks at the resort was disgusting. The International Hotel Group in association with Gagudju have pitched prices way beyond the 'grey nomad' traveller.... so beware, stock up in Katherine or Darwin supermarkets & go prepared. 'Grey Nomads'... on motorbikes.

I got bumped from the Crocodile lodge up the road at Jabiru to this lovely spot due to a booking shift with our conference organisers. The grounds were lovely, the staff were friendly and genuine people, and the cool tile-floored rooms bliss on a warm evening. I don't know what this place is marketing itself as, but I found it... The hotel is about a 5 minutes drive to Yellow Water and about 20 minutes from Jabiru. The rooms were good but basic and the louvers needed a good clean. TV reception was unreliable in the room, however the TV reception in the bar area was always good! The open air bistro food was good but overpriced. Breakfast was $18... More

We stayed for 4 nights. On the good side. The pool is terrific and the Lodge room was sizable and reasonably appointed although the bar fridge, even on flat out, could not chill the drinks enough. The surrounding attractions are terrific and highly recommended - we did both the morning and evening Yellow waters cruises and took the one hour... More

We spent nearly 2 weeks in Northern NT doing a bit of sight-seeing and a lot of relaxing. We had a great start with a week in Darwin, horrible stay in Katherine so much so that we left a night early and came to this Lodge. The staff when I rang to book couldn't have been more helpful. On arrival... More

Visited the lodge with my family for 2 days. The whole resort need a refurbishment. Staff not motivated and bored - cafeteria offers same menu and after 2 days it feels very boring if you decide to eat all meals in-house. Cabins very basic but clean.Yellow River cruise was nice, saw one crock and lots of birds. Nitmiluk in Katherine... More

We stayed for a couple of nights in one of outdoor huts during Jan 11 (during the wet). It wasn't cheap at $150 a night, but not outragous considering where it is. The room itself was relatively basic but had all the essentials. Decent aircon too. It's in a good location for getting around Kakadu. Our main gripe were the... More

I stayed for three days during the busy season. The restaurant was closed but I had DONE APPROPRIATE RESEARCH before staying at the lodge. I'd read that people were concerned with price on this website but through common sense I assumed that it was due to it being a remote location. I enjoyed my time emmensely. I was greeted by...
