Great caravan site. We paid $32 for a powered site. There were free BBQ facilities, clean and powerful showers, two well maintained swimming pools and a good bar and buffet restaurant, but pricey. We would not come here in the dry season as we imagine that it would be heaving with people! There is a general store with the basic... More

The staff here are what makes this place a number one spot to visit, they are very happy and friendly people. Then you have the billabong and wetlands cruise. Wow its like heaven on earth there is no place in the world that compares to this place. You just have to come and see it for yourself. The guides we... More

We enjoyed a few nights in a powered site during the end of the wet (April 2013). Although the river was over its banks and the mosquitos were thick at night, this place was great. Pool area is fantastic, kept the kids entertained while the park was closed. Food was good, although expensive. Highly recommend the dawn cruise, with breakfast... More

This hotel in an ideal place to stay when booked on the morning yellow water cruise. Staff at check in were very helpful. The grounds are nice and green and the pool very refreshing! Rooms are looking tired but overall it is the location you are paying for.

Took the lodge room which was really small. $39 per person and it fits two on a double decker bed. You can barely move about in the room. It's just a double decker bed with a small table and chair. We had to use the shared toilet in the middle of the park. The toilets were clean however, we showered... More

We choose the hotel because we wanted to go on the early morning cruise on the Yellow Water. We booked this on arrival and it was organised efficiently with transport to the boats and a buffet breakfast when we got back -and good birds to be seen! Our room was comfortable and clean.making it a pleasant stay. Nearby we visited... More

This is a very big campground in Kakadu's most touristic area, so logically it was quite busy. However there was no noise or disturbance, the facilities were clean and the powered sites spacious. Of course the highlight of a stay here is the Yellow Water cruise, we did both the Sunset and the sunrise cruises and loved it. Oh and... More

The resort is comfortable and offers comfortable rooms, a shaded pool, a great restaurant with a buffet allowing vegetarians like I am , a decent selection of food to choose from. Although the rooms are tired, they were very comfortable and the resort was a great base for our exploration of the Kakdu region. The service at the front desk... More

Cooinda or Jabiru? Hmm... The price is comparable. But Cooinda gets the edge if you plan to visit Yellow Water Billabong or the Waradjan Culturan Centre, both of which are about a kilometre away from Cooinda, and over 40km distant from the Crocodile Inn in Jabiru. We also did the "Adventure Tour" to Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls. Becuase... More

Stayed in the apartment which on the outside look nice, but on the inside, really look old. The toilet and shower are all one. The rooms were clean, but really run down. The breakfast is good, although the coffee is poor. The location is really good which is about 50km from Jabiru. Not too much to do except laze around... More
