Beautiful place. We had a budget room. Worth the price except the air con which is a bit noisy. You are very close to the nature and can feel kakadu spirit But restaurant is very expensive, drinks, breakfast, And the convenience store as well.

Dear Koikoille Thank you for taking the time to post your review, we value constructive criticism and I take on board your comments about the prices of the food, drinks and convenience store...I do ask you to just bear in mind the freight charges that we have to bear to get the products into such a remote location. I hope... More

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. The food in the restaurant was great - huge portions. The campsite is well managed with plenty of tours to do including yellow water cruises. The caravan sites aren't very large but they are grassed. Facilities were great and always clean shower/toilets. Laundry room and area to hang clothes. There were... More

This place for the rating of lodgement it is in is a great stay. They have adequate rooms that are clean and airconditioned, fairly basic but still a great and comfortable room. They have a couple of pools that you can cooll off in and a great bistro where you can eat breakfast lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. Its... More

Hi Samgalb Thank you for your very positive review, September is a very exciting time to be on Yellow Waters and the wildlife produce a new story every day... I am pleased that you have pointed out to fellow travellers that the Optus network doesn't work out at Cooinda and we are looking at trying to provide Wi-Fi but it... More

We stayed here in the motel-like accommodation - lodges. It was nicely presented and comfortable. Reception were less than welcoming on our arrival and although helpful with bookings lacked warmth and enthusiasm!

Exceptionally well managed park in Kakadu. Polite and friendly staff. Well groomed lush vegetation visited by an abundance of bird life. (and this is the dry season after all.) extensive leisure area including two swimming pools, large alfresco bar and dining area. Our stay was only two nights. Will be back!

Stayed for three nights with two kids and had a great time, although there was a young staff member on the desk who didn't seem to have any idea what there was to do in the area if you didn't have a 4x4. Luckily we picked up a local map with lots of information about what we could do. The... More

Hi Anne-Marie H Thank you for taking the time to post your review, I have noted your comment about the receptionist not know all the "hot spots" and we certainly will address that. We stayed here one night in August, wanting to stay two but it was fully booked the second night when we tried to extend our stay (around early June). The rooms are set up in small blocks of 4, with what seemed to be cinder blocks as the walls. This meant we did not hear anything from our neighbors. However,... More

Delightful motel style bungalows distributed among palm trees and with two pools. Spacious room, comfortable beds (extra bed if needed), quiet fridge and quiet air-con. Breakfast just OK. Bistro quite good for dinner but Mimi's restaurant is really good; inventive menu, nicely presented so do try iy. Service everywhere was good, almost all were not from Oz. The location is... More
