Stayed here for three nights on a self-drive tour of the park. Good location - 30-45 minutes driving to most of the park sites that you need to see. Good first impression from the welcoming front desk staff. Dated but comfortable facilities - we had a good size, ground floor unit. The open layout of the accommodation units worked well... More

For what you can get in the area, this is decent. The rooms are kept clean, the grounds could use some tending however. There are more centrally located lodges but a hour drive takes you to most sights. There is a spendid walk just behind the property. We saw a wallaby right off, heard dingos after dark and flying foxes... More

The hotel is around 25 minutes from Jabiru but is nonetheless a decent place to stay to visit Nourlangie Rock, Ubirr (for the superb sunset) and the Yellow River. My wife and I stayed two nights in a ground level pool view room whilst on a self-drive tour of Kakadu/Catherine. The hotel could do with updating but it was charming... More

Motel-style spacious rooms, adequately fitted out and comfortable beds. Noisy air-con. The rooms come in blocks and are laid out among the trees around the OK swimming pool. Breakfast was above average; dinner was quite good. Service charming, all by non-Australians! But the location is great: there is a lovely walk behind the site to a billabong and a short... More

This place is set in quite nice grounds with detached 2 storey apartment blocks each with 4 apartments. The accommodation is very tired and dated and it's very much in need of a makeover. The rooms are fairly large with comfy beds and seemed quite clean. The carpets etc are pretty tatty. There is a fridge in the room and... More

A bit run down, could be greatly with a bit of effort. Over priced for the quality, but that is Kakadu generally. Could also improve on its environmental friendliness. The staff in the restaurant were run off their feet, they could have done with more people serving and the quality of the wine list was below average.

A group stayed for one night, there were a few hiccups but the staff did all they could to help. Food was very good, breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable.

I was initially disappointed in the fact that it was budget accom,as I had planned the holiday to be luxury, however this supposedly was the only accom left so off we go.had a lovely first day out there, then we had a drop off for others at croc accom( so called luxury) and thought if this is luxury, what's ours going to be... Ideally located to Explore Kakadu National Park, this resort is smack bang in the middle of nowhere, but that is part of its charm. The resort is on bore water so it is not really suitable for drinking, complimentary bottled water is available in all the rooms & is replaced daily. The rooms are neat & tidy & facilities are... The Aurora Kakadu is a great place to base yourself if you want to explore Kakadu. The room was neat and tidy, although the decor is a bit dated. The bar / restaurant was a welcome treat after a day out exploring and the buffet breakfast was a great way to start each day. The hotel is not far from... More
