5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2015

Relaxing week in Annie's Cottage observing a working sheep, cattle & deer farm hosted by Kirsty & Gary. I was able to fly fish in their several miles of The Tutaekuri river, guided one day by their son Robbie who knows the river well. I highly recommend a stay if you're looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful views and a bit of trout fishing. More

Stayed in the Annies Cottage portion of Waiwhenua Homestead. Efficency with everything except of course food. Fabulous fishing area, beautiful sunrises...sheep, deer, cattle everywhere. Fill up your gas tank and grocery bag in Napier (black barn sat market!!!) and then go and relax in this historic cottage. We didn't opt for the farm tour but it sounded great if only we had more time..something for next time I guess. More
