I felt taken advantage of when I left Mangapapa. For three nights of accommodations, with breakfast, my wife and I spent US$2700. We elected for the B&B package so that we could meet some locals at the restaurants during lunch and dinner. We are glad we went that route. Yes the room was nice but I only slept there. The... more

What a wonderful place!! I booked my stay in May 2003, on a solo trip to NZ. The grounds are beautiful, and surrounded by an apple orchard. It was quiet and elegant.
