Handy to beaches, restaurants and central Russell. Clean, large suite including full kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, and patio for outdoor dining. Manager was very helpful in answering questions about the area and arranging activities. Like having our own cottage near the sea.

We love Seaport Village! We stayed there for the first time in 2008, and have been back a further 4 times. Located in the heart of Russell, it is conveniently located to the beaches, the wharf, every eatery and the bars. Baden - the Manager is the 'man'. Very hospitable and loaded with local knowledge (of beaches, walks, fishing and... More

This is a beautiful place to stay in Russelll. Probably the best. Location is fabulous right on the waterfront, 1 minute walk to the famous Duke for dining & 2 minutes to town and the wharf if you are wanting to do any boat tours or just cross to Paihia. Baden is just a dream to deal with for all... More

we didnt find a motel for the night, we found a new part of our family. Wonderful warm people and a great little room. The manager invited us to join his family and friends, we have stayed in touch post the holiday. Russel is a wonderful location that we assumed would be too touristy for our taste but were pleasantly... More

I book at the Seaport Village, so we have somewhere really central to stay when we meet up with our sailors competing in the Coastal Classic Yacht Race - and boy is it central! You couldn't get closer to the action :-) As for Baden, well, where do I start - he's the most friendly, welcoming and helpful Manager you... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. It was delightful the accommodation was spacious and the attention to detail was second to non. The room was immaculate. I wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed for two nights in a studio apartment which although fairly basic was good value for money as we got a great deal. We had a separate bedroom which was quite cramped (only one bedside table and light) but the bed was comfortable, The living area was spacious with a small deck. The kitchen and especially the bathroom are... More

My partner and I took an impromptu drive to Russell last weekend and decided to stay a night at Seaport. The host was friendly and the rate was one of the better valued ones (for central accommodation). We had a studio room that was spacious and clean. Unfortunately due to the close proximity of the location of the room to... More

Right in the centre of Russell with easy access to shops and restaurants. Our studio room was fine, nothing special I assume from other reviews that it hasn't yet been refurbished. However it was comfortable. We visited in the NZ autumn and were able to get a good rate so overall worth considering. Good value for Russell

we stayed for 2 nights in a very good studio appartment . the studios had recently been refurbished to a very high standard . Spacious clean with all mod cons . We went with friends all sat out on the patio for our breakfast in the sunshine . A very relaxing stay in a great location
