We chose this motel while we drove into Nelson as it advertised special rates and we are delighted we did. We were expecting to pay more for our Nelson accommodation than for other smaller towns, but this turned out to be a real gem - excellent value and superb accommodation.

The spacious room, and its bathroom and full kitchen, was very modern with very comfortable king-size bed (the owner told us they have put new beds in all the units). Big flat screen TV, looked like brand new furniture throughout, modern colours and decor, very friendly, helpful host, close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Surprisingly, no traffic noise either.

We stayed in motels all over the South Island on this trip and this was the pick of them.
