We were very disappointed here. We had a two night stay, and were welcomed with a waspish remark about inadequate door bell ringing! No hello! Very nice little bed and breakfast with very large comfortable rooms. The owners are very helpful and are always willing to strike up a conversation. For the homesick this can be a very good aid as the family of four will do there best to accomadate your needs along with a very nice breakfast in the morning and some good... more

The hosts at Amber house were very friendly and helpful and made sure that I knew where everything was, and how it all worked. It's a lovely old house with interesting history, and it's a relaxing stroll to Central Nelson. The bed was very comfortable, and i enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you Amber House! more
